Used 2005 Toyota Prius Consumer Reviews
This car works for a living.
Other than standard maintenance, this car has had zero problems. Performance is considerably better than expected in all categories.
80,000 miles and counting
We have over 80,000 miles on our Prius and only bought new tires and oil/filter changes. We have owned over a dozen new vehicles from Ford, Chevy, Pontiac, Dodge and Chrysler and this is the BEST vehicle we've owned. Read more comments on the interior room (my son-in-law is 6'4" and has more than enough room in the back seat. I have six houses and have hauled 8 foot 2x4's in it and even stoves and clothes dryers. I was in a national test in the "early years" and the mpg was 50.9 for the first two years of driving. It is doing well and I smile each time we fill it up. Can't wait for the 2010 to get 60+ mpg.

Comfort needs work
OK - I'm a big guy but this car has always seemed small/cramped to me. No heated seats ? Really?

No you can't drive my Prius
I love my car. I have driven a Jeep GC, Nissan 350Z rag top, 1979 'vette, and this is my favorite. Overall this is a wonderful car. Can there be improvements, yes, any car can be improved. Great Price, spacious sedan, hatchback, this car is a dream. If you buy one, make sure to wave to other prius drivers on the road. Interior is from the year 2035. Very functional. The exterior is a little wierd, not for everyone, but I like it, its very aerodynamic.
