I'd buy it again

I affectionately call this my golf cart since at slower speeds, cornering, it feels so easy to drive and is so quiet. Like no other car I've owned. It has good pick up on hills which are abundant where I live. It accelerates to acceptable speed quickly when getting on the freeway. It's a fun car. Speakers/sound isn't that full or great so if you want great sound, go buy a new sound system. If your phobic about fingerprints, this car is not for you. The dash area and touch screen always look smudgy no matter how many times you try and keep it clean. The handling is excellent though and I've overlooked the other areas because of this.

Awesome Prius

This is my second Prius, first was a 2002, also awesome. I was told that highway mi/gal will be lower, but I find that not to be true. I can get as good as 50 mi/gal on long interstate trips. In the city I get somewhat less. There are also some driving habits you can pick up to increase performance. You get ques from the "energy" display. Very clever engineering.

Great car, but poor interior trim

Love the car, love the mileage. Hate that little things are constantly happening with the interior paint. Chips on the garage door opener button on the mirror caused the entire mirror to have to be replaced. Poor fit of doors and dash board is causing paint to rub off both. Poor dealer prep.

mpg not what it seems

It's very deceptive advertising that the vehicle gets 60 mpg- in the NEast, consistently getting between 42-50 mpg: much poorer in the cold weather!

We just love our Prius. We can get 51 mpg on a whole tank just by paying attention of when to lay off the gas pedal. Other times ONLY 46 mpg. Still better than that gas-hog of an SUV we used to drive. Plus we're making a stand (as we all should start doing) to stop the insanity of our dependence on oil.
