Used 1993 Toyota Corolla Sedan Consumer Reviews
Japanese Quality
I too am the lucky owner of a Corolla DX sedan and I can safely say that it has definitly been one of the best automotive investments that I've ever made. The 1.8L engine is pretty snappy for its size, and the manual transmission is very smooth. No major repairs save an alternator and a starter but that was after I had driven it for over 90K miles! I've owned this car for 11 years and it never ceases to make me proud to own it.

Best car ever built?
We bought this car new in 1993. It has been driven every day since. It only took 16 years for the check engine light to come on for the first time. Turned out to be a broken wire to the O2 sensor which I fixed for free. I have decided to buy a new Corolla every 20 years whether it's wore out or not.
Not like a real Toyota
I got mine with 185,000 miles on it. The car had no power, no A/C that couldn't get fixed, the body looked like it was designed to look like a 1980s washing machine, and the interior was way too small and had no place to hold anything. The electrical equipment kept failing and the Airbag decided to go off randomly.
Owner of 4 Toyotas
I have owned 4 toyotas: 82 Corolla, 93 Corolla, 98 4Runner, and soon a 03 Camry. This corolla has over 112000 miles on it, and has never had a major problem. I still get about 400 miles on a tank of 89octane gas.
