Used 2019 Toyota Camry Sedan Consumer Reviews
Shockingly Smart
I was looking for a Technologically Advanced car with the MOST bells & whistles. Test drove Acura, MB, Honda, & finally settled on a Custom Built BLACK XSE with Red Cockpit, Birds Eye View Cameras, & Heads Up Display. The car was Custom Built as these spec is not available at the showrooms. I have been driving the car since 4 months. It is amazing & my kids still shrieks with joy when they enter the car. The car can be remote started from my Sofa via voice commands through my Amazon Eco Dot /Alexa. It can tell me the mileage & the gas remaining, & can lock or unlock the car. We don't notice it normally... but the lane correction feature almost everyday alerts & corrects me several times. Till now it has alerted me 4 times that I should have braked earlier. I have been enjoying the heated seats almost every day. I love the the Birds eye view. It allows to drive-in at tight corners, & park exactly in the middle of the parking space. There are no blind spots while driving at low speeds as the cameras activate automatically & gives a 360* view around the car. There are too many features to list here. This car has TOP of the line tech, with a price tag still below the Premium brand I could have bought with minimum specs. Toyota has got is right.

Prince2 - 2019 camry xle
Before buying, test drive the 2019 Camry XLE, 2.5L 4cyl 8A, 4dr sedan. All the bell and whistles come with this car, heated seats, double sunroof, large trunk space, has lots of get up and go. No big issue, a minor engine noise during quick acceleration, but it is not that intrusive, the gas mileage estimate 30/38 mpg. Ride comfort rated plush and interior, you get a directional mapping system that displays the posted speed limit for the area you are driving in and Wow, you also get great sounds, radio, JBL speakers, subwoofers - turn it up and cruise. Toyota, you have done it again, we are Sold on the 2019 Camry XLE. Bayside Toyota/ Chevy, Prince Frederick, Maryland and sales staff Steve and others -used/ new vehicles, thanks, as returning customers of Toyota, we highly recommend.

Practical, but not great!
Overall, the car is nice. I got the XLE because the lower trims did not have rear a/c. The LE and SE do not offer that, and living in TX heat it was not practical to buy without rear a/c. But then you get leather seats, which get hot in themselves and no cooled seats offered... only heated seats... go figure! Additionally, the car is too low, so getting in and out is not that great. The ride is comfortable, the seats also, and it gets good gas mileage, so it is practical and real nice on the inside. Build quality looks real good, so overall I am satisfied with this purchase!

2018 Toyota Camry XSE V6 acceleration lag!!!
I’ve had many Toyota’s as well as Lexus cars and I’ve never had an issue that’s aggravated me as much as this one has. I chose the Camry XSE V6 because I want to press on the accelerator and GO!! This car has an AWFUL lag when you start from stop. It seems as though it’s thinking of which gear it should choose. Then the RPM’s increase and a second or so later you get jerked into a gear. I am an aggressive driver and am on the highway every day. I have requested my dealer to reset the intuitive driving thinking that because I kept it in sport mode and downshifted often that maybe I made it misunderstand my driving likes and dislikes. Haha! Anyway, after explaining to them what I was talking about they reset it and did a couple recalls telling me it was fixed. Nope! I’m only leasing this car and have a little more than a year left on it. I hope Toyota get this resolved for those of you that own this car and those of you just starting out on your lease. Anyone have any suggestions or fixes please keep me posted!!
