Used 1994 Subaru Legacy Consumer Reviews
My Subaru
I love my car, there are only 3 things I don't like about it. 1 - the cupholder was put in the stupidest place in the world. 2 - I got the automatic. 3 - Mine's not AWD, you should really look into the AWD. Other than those 3 things, (2 of which I chose) the car is awsome. It has never left me down or had anything be break. Hopefully I can make it to 200,000 with no big problems.
My Turbo
The 94 legacy turbo was/is my first car. i bought it 5 years ago and the only repairs have been routine replacements of timing belt, brakes, and struts. the engine is so sweet for a ten year old car. Yes it may sip more gas but 20 mpg is not bad in the USA. Parts are a little more expensive than for the regular engine, but this is an incredibly reliable car. it conquers pennsylvania snow rain and mountains every year. When this car dies (in 2015?) I will of course replace it with another delicious 5 year old Subaru.
Solid, Dependable, Great in Snow
This car has been very good to me. Will be hard to give it up. Solid, dependable. Has got me through some rough winters and sand in the summers. Not high luxury but comfortable, practical. Great value.
My Used Suberu
My son gave me his 1993 Subaru Legacy because it would not always start in the cold weather. He had taken it off the road for several years and all I did was put a battery in it and it started right up. It did burn out the fusible link every time I tried to jump start it, and I had to make my own to replace it as no one had one. I still occasionally have a problem starting it in the winter and for no apparent reason, thus the low reliability rating, but it is a fun little car to drive and I like it a lot.
