Used 1993 Subaru Legacy Consumer Reviews
SUPER SUBURU
I purchased my Suburu in 1996. It had some minor body damage and 50,000 when I purchased it. Since then, I have practacally lived in the car. It had 280,000 and still runs strong. Since buying the car I have only had to repair the following : A/C (my fault it quit working); a water pump; and an intake gasket. Of course it has needed tires, brakes, and normal maintenance. I work on the car a lot myself and have never had a problem getting to things. The oil filter and oil drain plug are extremely easy to get to, plugs, plug wire and other maintenance items are a snap to replace. This car was designed with the mechanic in mind. I would love another Suburu when (if) this one ever dies.

I've LOVED this car!
Over the years this has been a great car to drive. I was very impressed when 3 of us took a trip from SF to LA in a fully packed car and got about 31 MPG! Driving up to Lake Tahoe is a breeze even in snow; I've never had to put on chains, because of the AWD. But being a sedan, this is primarily a town car with country pretensions, without being
Excellent Car!
It is hard to believe that the automobile technology 10 years ago was this good. My legacy has almost 130000 miles and it's still running like new. I still drive this on 300 - 500 mile trip regularly. And I don't get bothered by any kind of weather situations. Love this car!
Great car to increase mileage
Car is easy driving and handles good on the road. It's a 4 wheel drive, not awd and is excellent in bad weather conditions or just plain bad dirt roads!
