Used 2004 Subaru Impreza Consumer Reviews
Goodbye Passat
I traded in my 1999 Passat V6. Was rather tired of the Bosch electrical drama all the time. I am only down 25hp from the 190 V6 in the Passat and it tracks far better (AWD) and handles about the same! Exterior wind noise is minimal and interior sound deadening is wonderful....like the Passat. The safety I feel is there as well. Just to know the engine will submarine under me in an accident and there are imbeded roll bars in the door coupled with good crash test has me hooked. The boxer engine reminds me of my BMW motorbike........smooth and durable ( I hope).

It's GREAT ! The acceleration and handling are amazing and it's ride and mileage is pretty good for a daily driver, although you can almost watch the gas needle move during "spirited" driving and the seat does get a bit uncomfortable for journeys over 4 or so hours.

WRX Go Go Go
Nitpicking, the back seat is small and the interior is smaller than some cars in the class. Uh, it should come with trunk straps to hold things in place :). This car is always super fun to drive.
MySTI
I traded a 2002 WRX for this car because I wanted to avoid the turbolag. I surely does that! I love the car and consider it the best pure performance vehicle I've ever owned. Strengths are power, power, and more power. The ride is firm and fuel econ is fair as expected. Lack of available floor mats is a disgrace for a $32000 car but that is nit picking a great performance auto.
AWESOME!!
The Subaru WRX has got to be the best car that I have ever purchased. Where I live there are tons of dirt roads that most cars just can't get through. I've been using SUV's for the past 16 years and I enjoy driving cars more than SUV's. The new WRX has made my life so much easier by having AWD and I get all the comforts of a car that i need. Thanks Subaru for making such a great car!
