Initial Impression
I've owned this almost new car for just a couple of days. It has only 16,500 miles, so it was a peach of a used car purchase. Love the high seats and the hatch. Had I driven it longer on the test drive, I might have had second thoughts; the ride is ultra firm. One feels ever road imperfection and Michigan roads are very poor. This car was marketed to youth, but I'm AARP material. It should be a great grocery getter, but I don't think I'd like to take a long trip due to the harsh ride. Perhaps softer tires would help? I'll report back after I've logged more miles.
65 & holding
over all peppier then expected, so easy to park and holds all our grocery's in trunk area, we were looking for mileage (30 mpg +), price, ease of handling

my favorite car
this is my sixth car and my favorite, it has been over ten years since i had a toyota and i am glad to be back owning a car i know will go the distance!
Gotta love it!
We have had our scion XA for almost a year. We have totally loved it. A random stranger at a stop light rolled down her window to tell me how much she loved the car. We have driven it all over the west coast. There haven't been any problems whatsoever.
This Scion is so much fun
I purchased my Scion Xa in July of 2004. The interior design, where speedometer and all is placed, has reduced nighttime driving glare, resulting in less eye strain. After 40,000 miles, I have had to spend only $30 in maintanance. My highway mileage has reached up to 42 mpg. The stock stereo is better then most premium stereos.
