Used 2003 Pontiac Vibe Consumer Reviews
Yes to the Vibe
Love the car - the size and how you sit up from regular size cars, yet not so big. Really comfortable.
Cool Car... Toyota Quality?
I bought a base Vibe a little over a year ago and I think it's great. Not much can match its looks, performance, versatility, fuel mileage and price. That being said, I have come across many little problems that are typical of Pontiac, maybe not Toyota. The drivers window rattles when up, the drivers seat shifts when starting and stopping, the blower fan sounds like it needs a new bearing, the rear windshield wiper stopped working, I've had 2 rattles in the dash and the front tires have worn out in 10,000 km (Continentals)!! All little but annoying problems.

My Commuter Car
I bought this car because it was inexpensive and has great fuel efficiency. Its primary use was to be my work commuter car. As it turns out, I drive it most of the time (not just to work) becuase it's fun to drive. I bought the 5-spd manual because the manual trans seemed to have more zip.
My Vibe Experience
I am a real fan of this car after 3 years of driving. I have always traded my new cars after 3 years, but I'll probably hang on to this one! I'm 6'4" and I'm more comfortable in my Vibe than in most cars that retail for twice as much. The only disappointment was the original equipment TIRES were JUNK. (But most car makers mistakenly try to save on tires on their lower priced vehicles). Vibe is a winner!
