Used 2003 Pontiac Vibe Consumer Reviews
I Love My Vibe
I love my 2003 Pontiac Vibe. I couldn't afford an SUV and didn't want a car. The Vibe was the perfect pick. I am so glad they came out with the Vibe. I had to wait three months to get my Vibe because they just came out and no one in my town had one yet. The wait was worth it. I've never owned a standard and it is sooo easy to drive. I would suggest anyone to get a standard they are so much fun, and the room is great too! My husband tented the windows, put a stereo and amp and new wheels on it and my ride is sweet. I coulnd't be happier! The gas mileage my car gets is also very good and with gas prices going up it is going to be a wise investment.

Fun,sporty, and versatile. Exterior is O.K., but the interior is great. Lots of neat features, but not cluttered. This car is so much fun to drive. I'm sure with the current drive train, I will be having fun with car for years to come. I wish the base model had a few more pony's under the hood, but if you don't mind hanging around 4,500 rpm it will do.

Vibe GT
Awesome car, wait until you drive the GT and hit 6000 rpm's the motor kicks in and you feel like your flying.. The 6 speend tranny is great
Good Vibe-rations
The base engine is great and will be fine for most people but it's little weak for me. With only 5-ft/lb less torque (and at a much lower rpm) than the GT engine, it is more suited for a daily driver. The GT engine is a technological wonder but still not as powerful as I would like and is not as practical in my opinion with it's high rev'ing needs. Both engine are just average in low RPMs but are fantastic when the tach gets above 3000-rpm. A V6/auto would be a good addition in the future and the engine bay appears to have enough room for one. Bottom line: I'm keeping this Vibe until a V6 becomes an option.
not so bad
This car has been great so far. Bought it used and haven't had any problems. Although the acceleration isn't great it does have a fairly consistent acceleration up to 100mph and what it lacks in acceleration it makes up for it with good handling, esecially for a tall vehicle. I can fit two booster seats and a car seat in the back with no problems.
