Used 2010 Nissan Versa Hatchback Consumer Reviews
Best New Car for the price
So far the car is amazing! We looked all around car shopping and we could not find any other car that could compare. As they say the price was right. Make sure to get the S series not the base it makes a difference. The only problem we ran into is we never owned a brand new car so no one told us that the first 5000 miles you get less MPG than on the sticker "engine Brake in they call it" except no one at the dealership told us. Worth the test drive!
Love the Versa
I bought the Versa after attending a car show and sitting in every small car made. The Versa is extraordinarily roomy and comfortable for its size, as roomy as most midsized. The headroom, both in front and in back are excellent. The seats are comfortable, especially for a subcompact. I've read some comments about the width of the Versa. It is indeed narrow, but the designers have constructed the Versa in such as way as to create a sense of greater width than it objectively has. I'm pretty wide, 5' 6" and 250, and I truthfully do not feel squished. I've owned my Versa for about 3 months. It handles beautifully. The ride is quiet. I highly recommend it.

Everything I wanted
I bought this car to replace my two door Honda Civic. So far it is spacious, fun to drive, and everything I was hoping for. I'm not sure yet on the bas mileage, but it seems to be what I expected. Front seat has plenty of room. The keyless ignition and other features on the premium package are awesome!
Great passenger room and cheap!
I bought this hatch because it had more room for passengers than any comparable cars. The Fit handled better, but seemed geared higher & had less room for passengers in back. The Yaris was tiny, had the annoying center gauges & felt like it would roll easily. Over 6500 miles, my Versa is getting 32 mpg (rural commute). The car is comfy, stable & handles well. It is too early to predict long term reliability. The only major knock I have is the drivetrain. The 6 speed manual needs a higher overdrive. The Clutch is a bit vague & needs to have more "feel". My total price was $15,000 out the door with California taxes and title for a 1.8S with power package, VDC and 5 yr. 0.9%. financing.
Very Happy so far
We have only had the car about a month but so far we are very happy with it. We wanted fuel economy, the first tank we got 31.8, not bad for combined city and highway driving. The car is very comfortable. We looked at the Fit, the space with the rear seat folded down is great, but the seats are very hard.
