Used 2017 Nissan LEAF Consumer Reviews
charging at 120v
I purchased the Nissan Leaf new with the 30kWh battery on 12/31/16. I have driven it 50k miles and now have owned it for 4 1/2 years with no maintenance issues. My battery level is at an 11 and I usually get appx 95 miles in range. This is because I have charged my car at home using an 120v outlet appx 95% of the time. I know the charging is slow but by doing this the battery life has been extended. Great commuter car for short trips.
Perfect....for me
If all you need is a second car for a short commuting this can’t be beat. If you think you are going to be able to use it for more than that you will most likely have some anxious moments ahead. Owning an EV is like adding a new hobby that is centered on learning everything there is about lithium ion batteries. I may get over this phase soon and fall into a normal groove but that’s what it feels like right now.

2015 junk
Your battery pack Will degrade over time it’s just a matter of time. Ours are failing and Nissan will do nothing to help. Consider yourself warned!
Our second LEAF
This is our 2nd LEAF that we leased since 2012, and we decided to purchase it! Not only has it been an amazing and well-built car with no service issues, it’s saved us so much $ we can’t even begin to imagine! So easy. Just plug it in when we get home and it’s ready to go in the morning!

100% Reliability.
Bought this car in Dec of 2014. Since then I haven't had to do anything besides rotate the tires and add windshield fluid. This car has completely sold me on EVs. It's fast, quiet, reliable, virtually maintenance-free. All my future cars will be electric.
