I would advice not to go for it. The Transmission by Ford is useless and all these years they can't even build a simple automatic reliable transmission. Transmission sucks and produces knock on very shift on a stop and go stop and go road.
Sensible Buy
I bought this car as a used car from dealer. It is a 1999 with 24K miles, for about 13K on road. I have put about 11K miles on it. No probs so far, just regular oil change, 30K service & not a cent more. We did a 2000 miles in four days & it was cool.

My sporty sedan
The professional reviews are pretty accurate. If you need the comfort and roominess of a sedan but like to drive on windy curvy roads you won't be disappointed. While you wouldn't compare it with a Porsche for handling, I drive frequently on 1 lane roads and the performance is good. With the fold down seats I have room for my stuff when I am enjoying the great outdoors.
Worst car you could buy
This is by far the most unreliable car you could purchase. This car has racked up over $8 grand in repairs, every other month something goes wrong. The quality of the vehicle is beyond horrible. In addition to top it off Mazda USA headquarters are the rudest and most unprofessional people to ever work with. They don't back their vehicles at all and don't care what is going on. This car gives a new meaning to a lemon. I have had the steering rack, boots, oil leaks, hoses, fan, motor, radiator, thermostat, O2 sensor, EGR service, and much more done to this. Mazda is the worst company to do business with and this is the last Mazda I would ever purchase or recommend take your money elsewhere.
My Mazda
I like this vehicle because it has had no mechanical breadowns or problems. In addition, I get good gas mileage
