Bought this after my 2000 S 500 was totalle din a freak flood from heavy rains. Felt stupid within a week that I plunked 20k more for a less competent S 500. Double the fun, One third the price. Better everything than the Benz. Ok the Benz has 1 inch of extra leg room. I am any day willing to sacrifice 1 inch and putting 25000 in the bank and having a better riding, quieter and flawless car than showing th 3 pointed star and coughing up 25k more. rattle( yes the benz rattles far more than the LS 430) Lexus, u finally nailed Benz in their own game.

What a treat to drive - Supremely comfortable, absolutely smooth ride, listening to CDs even if I don't particularly want to because of the amazing sound quality. Ended up with the ultra-lux package, and my kids tell everyone at school about all of the cool rear seat features.

after owning all types of autos i find the 430 to be the most complete vehicle i have ever driven.

Traded from 2001 GS 430 and this car is the most comfortable and quietest I have ever owned. We have a 2002 MB S500 and there is no comparison especially on a road trip. The S500 is so poor ergonomically and the seats are so uncomfortable that I feel sure we will be rid of it fairly soon. It also spends way too much time in the shop compared to a Lexus. It is a better looking car---but who cares?

I purchased the LS430 and I love this car so much. I think this is best car in the world and would never trade it for a MB or BMW. It is so quiet you have to look at the RPM gauge to make sure its on. The dash glows with delight. In bright sunlight the dash does not drown out the beautiful LED lights on it. The AC has digital read out wright in middle of the car so you can read it for driver and passanger. You cannot go wrong with the this LS430.
