My third Jeep
This is my third Jeep and I really like this one the best. Mine is an 8 cylinder Laredo so I am very happy with the engine power.
If I had it to do over again
Although I love the navigation, heated seats and the dvd player I would trade all of that for the upgraded 4 wheel drive system. I have the Quadra-Drive 1 which in my opinion is not a very good choice. I actually got stuck in a small snow drift. If you're going to get a Jeep get the Quadra-Trac not the Quadra-Drive!

So Much Better
I bought this Jeep in Sept. The only problem that I had was that the passenger side window had a mind of its own when going up, dealer fixed at oil change. Mileage has been at a low of 14.9 to 22.5. Vehicle is quiet and has enough power for the everyday driver.
I think dealership knew this car was faulty.
5 months in... a tow truck...a $3500.00 transmission repair later, I feel I got suckered. Specifics: when test driving, I moved the car into gear and heard a clunk...salesman said upon their inspection, technician found a broken motor mount and that is what caused the noise. Well after the vehicle left me on the side of the road, my mechanic found significant amount of metal in the electronic part of the transmission which costs $3500.00 to repair. I believe ADVANTAGE BMW Midtown knew this car had transmission issues and hid them from me, the consumer. Buyer beware only adds salt to the wound in my wallet.

Extremely pleased
What a great SUV. Drives & handles excellent. It's smooth, quiet, safe & responsive. Many great options. My last 4X4 was a loaded Ford Expedition but rode & handled like a truck. I had a Jeep salesman take me for a demo ride in a Grand last winter during a bad snowstorm to highlight how the Mercedes platform handles/controls in icy treacherous conditions. He drove it hard & the control & performance was very impressive. For 4 months I shopped other SUVs but went back for the Jeep! I drive the Colorado mountains 12 months a year so winter safety is important but also wanted to move into a luxury ride. It handles our 10K foot passes great. So far 18/23MPG. My Ford got 11/15 MPG. The increase in MPG alone is worth every $.
