G20T
My car was purchased 93. Have a lot of fun with it especially when the boost kicks in. You guys should try it with turbonetics turbo upgrade and greddy parts. My car is old but it will definitely smoke any new g20 389whp!!!!!!!
First and only
This car was the first car that I have ever owned and I do not want anything other then it. I bought the car with 83,000 miles and had it until 140,000. I only changed some electrical and the alternator on the car which only cost me about $550 over a 6 year period. Recently, the transmission will not hold 5th gear, so I decided to move on and trade it in. I am actually in the market looking for a G20 between 2000-2002 because I just can not get enough of this car. They drive fantastic and look so good for an older car. I plan to keep getting Infinitis because of their reliability and performance on the road.
My G20
I bought this car off my mom. It's an ok car but you have to watch out for the infiniti dealers. They replaced the clutch and 3000 miles later it was gone and the refused to replace it under warranty. Also the abs break flued leeks at around 80,000. THe part is a $1200 fix, but you can drive on the broken part for quite some time. The inside is comfortable, its somewhat stylish, my window also stopped working that cost me $250. The engine is not built to be handled by anything more than an older woman.
Great first car!
It's been about 3 years since I owned my G20 but I loved it so much I feel that I should write about it. The G20 gets excellent mileage and its SR20 engine is highly regarded as one of the most reliable engines ever built! My car had over 190,000 miles on it before I sold it when I moved away. Even with 140hp this car still can move quick and is very stable at high speeds. Very comfortable to drive long distances. Definitely am looking for an Infiniti as my next car!
I'll miss our G20"
After 17 years it's time to say goodbye to this reliable family car. Why? Twenty-first century safety and fuel economy realities demand that gas-guzzlers and cars lacking all the safety features no longer should carry your family members---or anyone else for that matter. But over the years this car rarely required repairs (one blown tire, replacement of front shocks and one bad engine mount --- that was everything in all those years. We still have not decided what will replace it.
