I'm in love
I was feeling pretty low as I started my search for a car. You see, I'd had a stupid wreck, my fault, and now I was being forced to replace my beloved 300ZX. A friend told me I'd know my new car when I saw it and boy, was he right! One test drive was all it took. You have to drive this car to understand how tight it feels. I challenge any car lover to drive it and not smile. If you want interior bells and whistles, look elsewhere...no dash GPS here...but if you want an amazing piece of affordable engineering that is a real driver's car, this is it. Also, the red color I purchased is so loud you can practically hear it.
Can't beat it for the money
For the money you cant get a better sports car. This car is better than a Porche Boxster and almost as good as a Boxster S which cost almost twice as much money!

2005 Honda S2000
The S2000 is a fun car to drive and you can hardly wait to get behind the wheel. My wife uses the car as a comuter car and gets about 30 MPG. When I drive the mileage is somewhat lower as I run the car through it paces. Be prepared for foolish challenges on the road even from the most unlikely vehicles. A light touch of the gas and all challengers loose interest. Quite a little car. Quite a little car, Honda's done their home work.
My Toy
I bought my 2004 S2000 as a birthday/divorce finally done gift for myself. I'm no young puppy and over the years I've owned a 1961 TR-3, a 1969 MGB-GT and far and above this S2000 is the best of them all! It's just such a pleasure to drive to work on the country roads and go thru the gears, accelerate up and down hills. It takes us 45 minutes of just pure fun driving to get to work and it goes quick. I love this car for its road handling but I am constantly surprised by its power, it gets up and goes when you want it to.
Top Down Tenure
Being a sports car junkie has its downside, as one is continually judging the vehicle in possession against the sum-total of past experience (time to trade AGAIN, sigh). It's tough, when past experience also includes stock/mod race cars. However, the Honda S2000 delivers in so many categories, and the sheer joy of the driving experience is magnified so completely by this motorcycle-on-wheels that I'm simply laughing too hard to concentrate on convincing you to try one! Seemingly innocuous, feels like many other superb handling sports cars, UNTIL the driver decides to push it. The Honda becomes a rocket pack you've strapped on...rain or shine, it's simply superb. Outrageous, F1 level fun!
