Bought my ‘16 GMC reg cab & short box (shorty-sporty) couple weeks ago second hand from previous owner & really like it so far. I’ve owned GM trucks since 1980 and have never had issues with ANY OF THEM! My ‘16 is really sharp in all white and got my dealer to install the levelling kit so rear-end is now same height as front. Haven’t owned it long enough to know how my mileage is but, power sees just fine. Only thing I’m not too enamoured with is the interior is kind of plain but, it is the lower level so, shouldn’t complain…. I knew what I was getting before I got it. Wouldn’t DREAM of getting a Ford or Mopar truck …. never driven a Toyota truck so don’t have an opinion.

Had to have the transmission rebuilt at 110k miles. Starter went out around 90k miles. Issues with the tire monitoring system since day one
