'99 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4

After owning a Chevy Blazer(which broke constantly), and a Jeep Cherokee(that was also a regular problem), this truck has never gave me a whimper in 90,000 miles. I go off-road often. The engine has been modified and I am very hard on the gas. Still, It runs, shifts, and drives like the day it was bought. I never thought any vehicle would last this long taking my driving style, the durability of this truck is absolutley amazing.

fairly dependable. a few electrical gremlins(i've had electrical problems with all 3 rangers i've owned.) that would drain my battery overnight. also, it has the normal, ford power steering pump whine. gas mileage with the 3 liter engine and 4 speed automatic transmission is about 13 mpg around town and 18-19 on the highway.

Very strong small truck

Owned this truck a few years it is strong has about 16ok miles. This truck is stronger than alloy of full sized with plenty of power. My only complaint is the seats are not very comfortable the metal in the seats is poorly located and covered. I expect this truck to last a long time. Air conditioning and heat on this vehicle is top of the line.

Great Reliable Little Truck

I bought this truck for two reasons: looks and usefulness. I really like unloading a few bags of horse feed or several bales of hay without having to climb up into the truck to get the items out. This truck handles well, looks great and is a ball to drive. My other truck is for real - a F-350 dually turbo diesel - but this little guy is too handy to dismiss!
