Looks and sales man can be deceiving
I don't typically sign up for websites to do reviews but I will this time. Do your homework before you even consider this car. I've had this car for 8 months and I'm already trying to figure out how to get out of this upside down car. When I first test drove it the test vehicle was fine. I had seen a couple reviews about the transmission being a little jumpy but the sales man reassured me that that issue was very rare. No. I had it less than two months, took it in 4 times, and was without it for a month and ford treated me horrible. called headquarters and got dismissed there too. I've had such issues with a new car. Ridiculous! Don't do it pay a little extra and get a better car!

I was dumb enough to buy 2 of them
Car 1 Clutches replaced first week. Tire, glove box door, water leak, bad brake booster, brakes locked up, heat air not working normally, popping in dash, front end suspension, dealer left it sit with bird poop all over so paint is now ruined. Purchased 8/27/14 been in the shop going on 120 days now. Ford refuses to fix because I hired an attorney and they are not supplying the rental vehicle.

I have always driven Hondas and Toyotas, this is my first Ford purchase and I absolutely love the car. I did a lot of research, test drove many similar priced vehicles and I loved my Focus the moment I test drove it. The car has great visibility, engine is very quiet. The transmission is a little slow to react at times, but that could be because I am used to driving a clutch. The engineers at Ford really put a lot of time into many of some of the little details a few examples, you can roll the windows up after the car has turned off, and the radio stays on until you open the door. I am overall very pleased with both my car and the buying experience. Highly recommend this car.
Before you buy a ford focus -Please consider this
I bought my Ford Focus New in 2014 In a short period of time there was issues with shuttering in my transmission. I then had the trunk pop up 14 or 15 times a week while driving It's been almost a year since I bought it and it still has issues. The transmission acts the same and the trunk keeps popping open. I've had it to the garage numerous times. Fords warranty in my opinion is worthless. It seems like the Ford Mechanics favorite phrase is "can not duplicate" this enables them to avoid a lemon law and not repair the vehicle Ford extended my warranty to 75,000 But I have to pay them $100.00 each time I take it in, even with the same issues that they could not fix I would never buy a Ford Ever Again I WILL TRADE IT OFF THE 1ST CHANCE I GET, EVEN IF I TAKE A LOSS ON IT. Consider this when buying a Ford !
