Used 2003 Ford Focus Consumer Reviews
Not The Best
My dad originally bought this car for me for my first car. I will say that for a first time driver, it is decent. Very easy to drive. For the few years I owned it, I never had any mechanical problems with it. The 4cyl. engine, in my opinion, is way too small. Awful pickup on the highway. It is very low to the ground and had a tendency to bottom out. Also, not really good in the snow. Decent MPG though. I ended up trading it in for a 07 Jeep Liberty, which I love and would recommend to someone over the Focus.
Good price for performance and features.
My only two complains are the tires (too small), and that the car is sometimes 'lazy' when accelerating.

SVT Power
Lot's of bang for the buck. real xenon lights, not those fake aftermarket lights. Need to keep revs up to enjoy engine. Unreal handeling. kept up with bmw 330 series no problem. very stable at high speeds (110 plus).
I love the Focus SVT!
I bought the car three monthes ago and I've been running with it ever since. The car handles great, is comfortable for long drives, and it is SO FUN TO DRIVE. I would definitely recommend this car for someone who loves the sporty handling and performance and wants a sensible car(tons of cargo space and pretty good on gas mileage for a performance car.) I LOVE MY SVT!!
I like it
The car has been great for the first 700 miles and I only had the car a week. It seems like I'm always at the gas station. I haven't figured out the gas milage yet so I don't know if it's because I'm getting bad gas milage or because it's the small gas tank. The car handles really well. With all of the incentives I got it dropped the price considerably. I have also enjoyed the 6-disc changer even though I really didn't think I needed it.
