Used 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Consumer Reviews
Front end disaster
Our 2017 F250 diesel had right at 16,000 miles and was just 1 year old when the steering started to shake so bad it was not drivable over 30 mph. After 3 visits to service department and no satisfaction we traded it off for a Dodge. We have driven Fords for 50 years and have never been told that we did not know what we were talking about. The service manager even told us the truck was unsafe to drive but would not fix it. He claimed factory reps that looked at it could find nothing wrong.

F250 4x 6.7 TD Platinum FX4
6.7 TD. Great Auto, Great Features. Living in ATL and traveling to Perimeter, Buckhead and Downtown endures a few Logistical Navigation issues and especially with limited parking and constriction of Parking Deck Height. Overall, the Auto is Awesome and very happy to make the purchase.

Rattles
This truck has plenty of power, But it has way to many rattles. The driver side door has something loose in it but it goes away when it warms up. No one can find it. Rough roads or tough roads, it does not matter. Rattle, Rattles were coming from behind the back seat, dashboard. I bought a 2018 Ram2500 and still have that vehicle,Solid

Diesel v. Gas
I had rented both for long weekends the 6.7 diesel and 6.2 gasoline, I had much better experience with the diesel as I towed a 6700lb toy haul trailer with 120 gallons of fresh water, 23 gallons of Gasoline, 400lb street motorbike, and full of stuff for both trips, in addition to the diesel trip it was longer and mountainous paths. As the characters of driving are same but huge difference in performance. It’s very stable on the road while towing and passing cars, as you can cruise it easy at 75 and 85 with low RPM’s Never had to adjust the throttle as I did on the gasoline engine, roughly 3 1/2 RPM on Gasoline. The seats are stiff and uncomfortable but the visibility is so clear and feels you are in control. I did 11.5 MPG without the trailer, 8.5 MPG with the trailer on Gasoline engine. At the same trailer gasoline engine roughly 150miles per trip and the diesel 300 miles per trip. All in all I really liked the diesel engin as it was so powerful and never think how rough is it gonna be on the engine, but I’ll consider getting much smoother and comfortable vehicle than the F250

Wish there were negative stars
Stay away! I will NEVER buy another Ford! First and last one! Only owned for six months and that was too long. I have owned Chevy and Dodge 2500's and there is no comparison. There isnt enough room to type all the things that went wrong. Trans, brakes, rear end, rust, etc...Locking hubs, is this still 1982!!Dealership personnel were awful "after vehicle purchase"
