Nice Truck
I just bought the truck, and for the price, its well worth it. With rebates, etc, you can get a 3/4 ton ext cab for less than a half ton of anything else. The styling has everybody else beat. Gas mileage is poor, hopefully it will get better with time.I like how easy access for maintenance the underbody is, too. A bit stiff ride, but hey, that's why you bought a big one, right?
here's to the Triton v10
I felt the need to rate this since I found no v10 reports in here. I have only owned this a couple of weeks but enjoy it very much. The ride is stiff but what do you expect from a real truck. My previous truck was a Toyota Tundra which I liked very much but I needed a truck to haul a 5th wheel and Ford is it. No problems so far though it did come with 29 thousand miles on it. So I am hoping all the bugs are worked out. I do enjoy the the power and acceleration the 6.8 has and noticed no difference between the '04 and '06 I test drove. But it seems to take off and stop funny like on stilts or a sloppy tranny but will take that up with dealer.
F250 Superduty -- SUPER
I cannot imagine anyone wanting anything else after driving mine. It handles like a dream, has all the creature comforts of most cars and can tow almost anything. In fact, when I have my 6,000 lb boat behind it, I hardly realize I am towing anything. There is simply no comparison to the F250 Superduty. Ford is king when it comes to builing a truck.
Enjoy my 250
great all around truck
poor engine design
vehicle will not accelerate at high elevation. injectors have come apart filling crankcase with diesel, which if not noticed in time can cause engine to over accelerate and explode.
