A big truck
This is a big truck with a lot of room inside. The fuel mileage really surpised me. I am getting 20+ mpg on the highway. I have the 5.4 motor, which has plenty of power for what I do. It is a great looking truck.

What a Truck
I absolutely love this truck. The V10 has great power( not like the 6.0, but 5000 dollars less). The Fx4 off road package is a great option. The interior may not be as modern as the new F-150 but it is adequate, and still holds true to being a truck. Suggestion to prospective buyers: If the diesel is out of your price range, go with the V10. Going with the V8 may get u a couple more mpg, but you sacrifice alot of power. also, the large towing mirrors realy cut out the blind spot in normal driving.
Do Not Buy
Purchased this truck brand new. Will never buy another Ford for any reason. 3 months after purchase the power steering would go OUT every time you stepped on the brake which made it impossible to drive in a parking lot or with a heavy load. Complained to dealer & Ford rep they refused to fix an obvious flaw. I also was afraid to drive the truck with any heavy loads because of the brake/steering problem. Explained to Ford & Dealer that this could seriously injure someone and they could care less. Finally got tired of fighting with them and traded for a different brand of truck.
Nice Truck
I just bought the truck, and for the price, its well worth it. With rebates, etc, you can get a 3/4 ton ext cab for less than a half ton of anything else. The styling has everybody else beat. Gas mileage is poor, hopefully it will get better with time.I like how easy access for maintenance the underbody is, too. A bit stiff ride, but hey, that's why you bought a big one, right?
