Excellent vehicle - 6.0 power is unbelievable - 5 speed tansmission is smooth and very fast

This truck was everything I thought it would be. That is until the recall notices arrived. #1 was for a transmission problem that required the dealer to keep it for four valuable workdays. Following that visit, the "check engine" light was off and on intermittently. #2 visit was for a electrical harness problem. It required another four day visit to the dealer. Again, following that visit the "check engine" light was back on -- this time for good. When I called dealer, I was required to again take it in and leave it! Unbelievable. And to top it off - the only rental car available was a compact American car. Customer service means nothing to Ford once they've got your $$.

Traded in my 2000 4x2 Diesel F-250 for a new 2004. The new POwerstroke seems to outperform my 7.3 that was chipped. Mileage is better than expected. New transmition is very smooth and the downshifting to aid braking while towing 13000# of boat is quite nice. Wish they would have upgraded the dash but it's simple well laid-out design is easy to see and all the info needed.

I have the 6.0 Power Stroke and it rocks! I love this truck. This is my 6th Ford pickup and I think the best.

excellent truck. I was a owner of a GMC however this truck is head and shoulders above my old truck.
