Used 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty Consumer Reviews
Great Truck
Have had the vehicle for seven months and have 15,000 miles to date. Fantastic comfort, incredible towing, great capacity . . . the perfect truck for any situation.
THIS TRUCK IS OFF THE HOOK
Have a 85 Ford F-250 XL work truck with 150,000 miles and it is still kicking. Bought a new 2003 Ford F-250 Crew Cab, Lariat, Centenial, with the 6.0 liter V8 Turbo Diesel. This truck is fabulous! Took it on the road Last week to Rhode Island and the ride was enjoyable even without a load. The sound system fills the cab with low distortion even music. The 6.0 Turbo Diesel has lots of power and gets good gas mileage, about 18 city and 23 highway. I have the FX4 package and can't wait to see what it can do off- road. I also have a automatic moonroof that fills the cabin with drenched sunlight. This is the most luxurious pick-up that I have ever seen.

Great Truck! 6.0 Diesel
22.6 MPG on road! 16.6 MPG mixed driving. You must get the 6.0 diesel, it's the BOSS! Hugh interior. Nice riding truck.
F-250 Should be better
I hoped buying late into the series production years would help with quality but I am dissappointed. In 38,000 I have been down three times. First ignition coil would not heat up, then both batteries died, and 5,000 miles later the alternator goes bad. All would have put me on the side of the road if I were away from home. The CD player went bad too but that is relatively minor.
River Truck
I use this truck for towing my boat to the river and for taking my baseball gear to practice (sons team). I love the truck. I installed headers and exhaust but did not help mileage much. I have a 6 inch lift and 35" tires and get 9-10 mpg. This is my only grievance with this truck but I drive it seldom so not such a big deal. Great truck.
