Used 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty Consumer Reviews
Only a Ford can be this Good
Writing this 4 years into ownership, I have to say I can't believe Ford can build such an outstanding product. My truck has been flawless - has never needed anything other than routine maintenance... which after 4 years has totaled around $1000.00.
good as they get
nothing short of a great truck.fuel mileage is unbelievable!these trucks are really made to work.
Check the junkyard
Own two fords . A 6.0 and 6.4 liter. 117000 miles on 6 liter,4 engines and nearly 26000$ spent. 6.4 liter 153000 miles, the engine grenaded itself and is junk. No rebuilding a 6.4... Nice. 20000$ plus to replace it. Go look at the auto auctions in the mechaniclaly totaled vehicle section, it is full of hyundias and ford diesels. There is a reson for this

Transmission not so good
I own a '03 7.3L powerstroke, at the lake the transmission went out with only 52,000 miles on it. I took it to the dealer figuring the 100,000 mi powertrain warranty would cover it, it didn't. $ 4,000 later and the new transmission (refurbished I add) has a better warranty than the origional one. I'm dissapointed when I pull 14000K worth of equipment. I've heard wonderful things but haven't experienced the greatness of the 7.3L. Soon trade for a new twin turbo F-350 or a Dodge Cummins
F-250 Super Duty Super Truck
This is the 2nd F-250 Super Duty I have owned. I actually looked at GMC & Chevy 2500HD'S but could not find the set up in the color I wanted so I called a Ford dealer and they found several to match my desired truck. Needless to say I purchased the 250 and do not regret it at all.
