Used 2023 Ford F-150 Consumer Reviews
Even his wife is happy!
My construction husband needed to retire his 2001 Ford F250. Since he is in retirement as well, we decided on an F150 XLT. He loves it. I love it! We are both so happy with it. It has all the bells and whistles that we wanted (ApplePlay is the best!), the seats are so comfortable, the back seat area is huge for extra riders or for cargo if we take it on a trip which we are actually hoping to do. Our other car is a Acura MDX and we love it, also, but wouldn't mind giving the F150 a road trip in the future. We had the bed sprayed instead of buying a fit-in cover and so happy we made that choice. He added a tonneau cover that rolls away should he need the space for tall items. It is good for doing jobs and carrying materials as he chooses to do so, but also for more domestic uses! No buyers remorse from us!

My dream truck
Never had a new vehicle but I'm getting older and said why not. Traded a 2017 Nissan Titan for my 2023 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew sport RWD V8 area 51. Truck is beautiful had the console shifter and the rear ac vents, 12 inch screen, heated seats remote start. Navigation. I've added a 2 inch level kit to front, hdx grill guard, wheel well liners in rear, spray in bed liner, cut the pipe after cats into a x pipe and two borla s types out the back to black tips. Weather tech floor liners, window visors amd tinted windows. This truck came with the start stop delete wish I'm happy about. Ford sucks in the option category how do i pay for a xlt but i cant get the garage door opener or vanity lights on the fold doen mirror standard. Some other Things I wish I had would be 360 camera, tail gate step, adjustable pedals, and Ford Co pilot assist. Performance is great in any normal mode or sport mode she runs like a scalded dog. For highway trips I put her in eco mode and best I've seen was like 25 miles per gallon. I plan on keeping this truck a very long time and she will be well taken care off. I have a few more modifications to make like I've already purchased the katskins leather seats just got get them installed, a tonneau cover, I have a 13 or 15 inch fold down DVD monitor and player, maybe some under the rear seat subwoofers and that's about it until factory warranty runs out than maybe some long tube headers. And mustang manifold and tune etc. I have the 18 inch rims they are tiny but I like the design wish they came on 20s. So maybe wheels and tires some day. But overall this truck is awesome. --------------------------------------‐------------------------------------------- Update: 2025 Added the Katzkin leather seats, and the tonneau cover and bedliner. I brought the shorter aftermarket antenna and put some down firing subwoofers in a box under the backseats. I ordered some 22 inch black ford performance rims have to decide what tires to get and get them put on. Truck still so fun to drive gas mileage has gone down I don't drive it much and modified it like 16 in city and 20 to 21 on highway. Still loving this truck.

Worst f150 Of all time
Bought it drove it home about 150 miles I drive about 15-20 every day to work. Low battery comes on. I can’t start from phone app. Dealer states you have to drive it for an hour to charge it. Hmmm so if you lease at 12k a year that’s not enough mile to keep it charged for normal driving. What a mistake on buying a hybrid.

Dead in the water
a few weeks ago I went out to start my 2023 Power boost Ford F150truck after having had a camper shell installed and a message came on that read "Stop Safely Now" No start. I tried to start it this morning and there was absolutely no power. Un able to lock the truck. I mean zilch, nada, no power. This truck was purchased 3 months ago brand new.

Rental
The vehicle rented is a Lariat. Comparing to my RAM Laramie I find it lacking. I like the engine and quiet ride. The interior is NOT comparable- it's got cheap plastic and leatherette or vinyl- not sure. The visibility is somewhat restrained when looking over my shoulder. Seats are much less comfortable than RAM. Wheels are also cheap compared with RAM. The technology seems good, but fairly busy. Even the wheel well panels are cheaper. I expected much more from a Lariat. Not a hater... just surprised.
