An amazing performance value. Don't buy this truck for fuel economy or any practical concerns. If you want an extended cab then don't get a Lightning, they made no compromises in performance for practicality. the lightest bed, shortest wheelbase etc. Don't complain about tire wear, they last long for being used in such a heavy and powerful vehicle.

This is a really fast beast. And it is fun to drive. I out run all kinds of stuff in this bad boy. Corvetts,camaros i even beat a mustang cobra. Buy this if you want 380 horses and 450 foot pounds of torque. Not to mentoin a 5.4 supercharged engine with a eaton blower and supercharger.

I traded my 1999 Mustang GT for a 2003 Ford Lightning Truck. This thing pulls in every gear with monster torque. It blows the Mustang GT away and just about everything else on the road. Plus,you can tow a boat with it. The cab in very roomy and the seats support you very well and, keep you from sliding around when turning. The only draw back is that it only comes with an automatic transmission. I don`t really miss it with this kind of power.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU WANT POWER AND STILL FEEL LIKE DRIVING A SPORTS CAR THIS IS THE THE TRUCK FOR YOU. THIS IS A CAR THAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX CAN COMPETE WITH THE BEST AND MOST EXPENSIVE SPORTS CARS. IF YOU JUST WANT TO HAUL STUFF THEN GET A TURBO DIESEL IF YOU WANNA FLY THEN THIS IS THE TRUCK FOR YOU.
