Just passed 250,000. This truck will not die.

Bought new in 2004. Still going strong at 200,000. Can't believe this car will not die. Still runs well. Only major mechanical issues were a spring coil replacement four years ago and two back compressors. Original transmission, etc. Spent over 10x that on my range rover mechanical repairs (only 80,000 miles). Best and most reliable vehicle I have ever owned

I love this car, it is called old faithful. Own a roush mustang, Audi a8l Lexus GX460 all much never than our 15 year old expedition and yet , it is STILL the car I drive most days!! Excellence comfort and reliability. Just completed a 8000 mile trip to the south of Mexico and the only repair needed in the car was a $5 exhaust bracket snapped with the bumpy Mexican roads. 95 mph for 36 hours in one go without stopping for more than gas and the bathrooms or food. Had the transmission replaced at 220000 for $3500 with a 100000 warranty so I hope to get this car to 400k or more . Love it

Hard to find another truck with same price and all the features, even though I'm biased to Ford vehicles.

I first purchsed a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT and was so impressed that I decided to upgrade to the Expedition. It is larger overall than the Explorer and sits higher off the road. I can't get over the field of view you get with the Expedition. These 2 Fords are the first American manufactured automobiles I have owned since my 1967 Pontiac Firebird and it is a wonderful experience.
