An excellent SUV
We have owned Tahoes, Expeditions, Land Cruisers and currently also have an LR3. Our 04 Eddie Bauer Expedition has been an excellent performer. It's comfortable to drive and the ride is way nicer than the previous suspension set up. The additional power offered by 05s would be welcome but the 2 valve motors are adequate. This SUV just eats up the miles on road trips. Ours has been extremely reliable. We have 56,000 miles and I took it to Firestone telling them to replace the brakes...I get a call an hour later saying there's 50% pad left and the rotors look fine.
LOVE IT!
This is our 8th SUV and by far our most satisfying overall. Easy to manuveur despite its size and, though not as fast out of the block as our old Jeep Grand Cherokee, its much larger and handles urban issues (potholes) much better. Overall, we love it

Solid B+
Does great on the things we bought it for (kids, cargo, 4WD in rough weather, comfort, long trips); only a handful of quality-related nitpicks keeping it from making it a truly great experience. Handles like a much smaller vehicle, and large mirrors are second to none. Seats, dash, controls all logical. Could be a touch quieter and a bit smoother on acceleration.
very happy
The car is so nice inside that I almost forget I am driving!! very comfortable, roomy, great detail in design, sheer joy to drive, can do a uturn better than my old Voyager.
Ford XLS 2004
Took the truck with a lease and traded my 91 Bronco in for it with 2500 down. Got kinda hammered with the payments but I needed soemthing new and something that had lots of space inside since I have a large family of 5 to move around. Truck runs really well and handles snow as well as can be expected. It sometimes wants to bring the backend around when turning in the snow but I think this is due to the length and me driving a Bronco for all the years I did. Just gotta get used to it. Gas mileage is pretty low, 28 gallon tank and I get about 260 miles to the tank. Better than my Bronco so I enjoy it. LOL Overall a nice truck
