Green Expedition - Shrek
I am the original owner. Just went over 300k the other day. This is my daily driver. Original 4.6l engine and transmission w/ no work done to either. Still has the original radiator hoses, water pump, starter & power steering pump. On my 3 set of tires. I have been using full synthetic oil, changing every 10K since new.
2000 Expedition EB 4WD overall reviews
Air suspension excellent IF you're mainly using it for towing, BUT it is not really an overall necessity especially when it comes practicality (Problematic on consumers and very costly in maintenance). it is very rough and annoying rattles due to stiffness. I immediately transformed it to spring suspension (Make sure use strutmasters front struts and rear spring; highly recommended rear shocks Gabriel MAX CONTROL and you will feel a big difference of your ride like a LUXURY SUV! Engine 2 valve (built by previous company) very dependable the same with their transmission (flush it every 3 years). Year 1997-2002 200,000 miles is just a piece of cake on this vehicle EASY or get a lot more if you're somewhat picky on maintenance. I know this vehicle is bad on gas, but it will payoff in the long run due to being tough. Additionally, my family and I feel secured in vehicle because we're surrounded with solid frame and chases.
