I have owned four corvettes, two 911s a 930 Porsche a Ferrari and the viper is my favorite, it doesn't ride like a Porsche but it handles better in the corners and just has the raw hp. Its watched where ever you go, hard to ride under the radar. The car is easy to work on compared to a Ferrari or Porsche and it is so much less to maintain when it comes to service and parts. It's a truly drivable car.

The SRT10 convertible is arguably the fastest production convertible known to mankind. I have owned previously a 1996 GTS coupe and it was fast with plenty of power. The '03 SRT10 is however even faster with more power and torque and incfredibly also much more driver friendly than its predecessor. It is a much more refined car than I would have thought. The top is a 15 second operation up or down and is simple to use. This engine easily overpowers the rear tires in first gear and during upshifts requiring throttle modulation to resist wheelspin. I have driven race cars, Ferraris, Lambos, and Vettes but none compare with the exhileration when stompiong the throttle of the Viper SRT10.

If you want a car that is unique and has more torque than just about anything on the road, this car is a blast. I’ve owned my viper for 9 years after buying it used with only 2k miles. Every time I get in and drive it, it feels like a special occasion. I’ve not felt this way about any other sports car I’ve owned over the years. Sometimes it gets more attention than I’d like though- it draws a crowd everywhere I go. Maintenance will be more than a Camry, but not as much as European exotics. Pick the right mechanic though because so few were made, most dodge dealers are not all that familiar. From a performance perspective, you will not find a better buy out there for a lightly used, well maintained Viper.

Bought the car as the 5th Viper I've owned. Truly outstanding car - far, far better than anything else thus far. Performance, acceleration, handling, ride and braking are well beyond any of the old models.

This car has no equal for its price and performance. I waited for 6 long years to buy a Viper and I was not disappointed. This car is a street legal race car but at the same time, it is no harder to drive than a Honda Civic or a Saturn. There is this thought out there that this car is hard to drive, it isn't - only drivers who don't understand or know how to drive a true sports car. The performance is unbelievable. I understand now why everyone who drives this car has such a big smile on their face. There are certain cars that invoke emotion by just looking at it & this car is one of them. If you are a car nut and you get the opportunity to own one, do it. You will not be disappointed.

The viper has a classic problem that comes with massave hp and a rwd ststem IT WILL SMOKE THE TIRES OFF WITHOUT FAIL inotherwords Too much hp too little traction

traded in my 2002 vette z06, this awsome car is more fun in all ways to drive then the vette.where ever i go people always ask me about it.thais is bnot a car for the faint of hart. the only thing negative i can say is that my licnese is not going to last long

Most fun to drive ever. Pure acceleration and power. Typical sports car ride and very flat in the corners. A blast. Probably overpriced but at this level of performance, who wants to complain.

I fell in love at first sight twice: First with my boyfriend then with my silver viper. As for the cost: I really don't understand what all the fuss is about. This is an american MUSCLE car. Continuously outperforms other European cars for a fraction of the price. You are getting a serious vehicle that can run with the best of them. If you're WORRIED about the price than this isn't the car for you.

I think the 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 is a wonderful, fast, viper-like sports car (I hope Dodge hears about this). It's also extremely reliable. It's interior is wonderful with the gauges vertily in a curved line. Just a work of art!

The SRT 10 which I ordered 3 minutes into the "owners only" list in February of 2002 finally arrived (dealer error). It is my 3rd viper, first was '96 limited edition, last was 2000 RT/10. Performace is beyond belief. (I disagree strongly with J.D. Powers review saying power increase is not noticible.)The car is simply awesome, although it took me a while to accept the less agressive front end. Comfort and sound system are vastly superior to RT/10. But alas, after 26 months of no speeding tickets, I picked up tywo last week. Jim Lear, 303 770-5870

this is the 5th viper in my colletion, and the cherry on top of the sundae. absolutely a fantastic vehicle. dodge gets a thumbs up for this concept - an american supercar to go head to head with the best europe has to offer and the $$$ can NOT be beat.

This is my second Viper. Since I have already modified my 1994 RT/10 to 800HP I had relatively low expectations for performnce. This car is FAST and handles like a dream and comfortable. No excuses performance, awesome brakes and suspension. I am only seeing about 11MPG average (I only have 900 miles on it so far) sothat may improve. The exhaust note is sweet especially at high RPMs but I think I need it a litte louder on the low end. Best sports car for the money. Great view of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Porsches in the rear view mirror.

This is my seventh Viper. I must say this car is so much improved than former models. The changes that were made to the car are great, not that the former model was bad, but this car has a very updated look to it. Many things that were allready ok on the former model, have been improved. I love it, it's great car to drive, and if I must say, no car on earth is as appealing to the public.

Having owned a 2000 Viper GTS prior to the SRT-10, I was skeptical that this car would live up to expectations. It blew them away. The looks, which I did not like in pictures, turned out to be nothing less than gorgeous in black. The power is improved, the brakes are incredible, and the car is refined yet not watered down in any way. In the brief time I have owned it, I have won a couple car shows featuring new Vettes and even a few other Vipers. I have also taken it to the drag strip, where it once again dominates. I have yet to encounter any stock car that will come close in performance, including previous Vipers. Bottom line: This car is AWESOME!

THE POWER is amazing. Better than my 2001. The styling is A LOT better in person than the pics. I can't get this grin off my face. Any gear you stomp it and you have instant power. Thanks Dodge for still giving us the horsepower the Viper demands. Can't wait for a Z-06 on the streets.

Vehicle not built yet. Opinions based on drive eval of a test vehicle. Currently own a 1995 RT/10 and the SRT- 10 is a major improvement for everything except exterior performance (impossible to improve on the original).

A true present day muscle car,anyone that does not agree should check their pulse.The fact is that MOPAR is always improving on a already outstanding supercar,that seems like their could not be anymore to improve upon.The bottom is that the Dodge Viper holds it's own against the worlds elite.

Ordered car in Feb. of 2002. Waited a year for arrival. Well worth the wait. Awesome power. The car sticks to the road like a race car. Much improved interior. Excellent build quality.

I drive the 2003 SRT10 for pleasure. And it is a pleasure to drive. The acceleration is had to match, the brakes are unbeatable, cornering is fantastic. The top is easy to put up or down in seconds. One Fast Ride for performance lovers.

In the beginning I thought buying the viper is such a nice car, I felt so special driving it. That is until I was on date with my girlfriend when it stalled. We were stuck in the middle of nowhere for hours. The 24 roadside assistance they promised us was of no help the mechanic they sent us did not know anything.
