Used 2017 Chevrolet Equinox SUV Consumer Reviews
Ho hum!
The car was good and in the midst of paying for it I am going six months + without being able to use it because the timing chain stretched and destroyed the head. Just very disappointing.
Worst vehicle I have ever owned
Trust the poor reviews. Wish I had done the research first. Due to the number of repairs my vehicle needed after 60,000 miles, I will never trust/buy a Chevy again. I have put over 10k into repairs. This car was maintained very well, overly well, and still nothing but engine problems.

Don’t buy this year if it has 2.4l
Worst vehicle I’ve ever owned. Had problems from day 1. Rear main blew at 70k. 14k to fix more than car was worth. Gm did not cover anything.

Near 100K and no problems
I’ve heard a lot about the L…which is what I purchased new 6 years ago. For me…it has plenty of power and good handling. Do your maintenance…this car has been “over maintained” and it has paid off. At 97K…this was one of the best cars I’ve ever owned!

My second in a row, Never done that b4
I had a 2011 AWD Equinox, that rusted and needed a timing chain 154k. I carry 250# load in the back daily. I like the backup camera, touch screen, heated seats, I know the menu and settings. Nice quiet ride, 4cyl L. I put 10k per year. I know how to do many maintenance items, oil change, brakes, AC recharge, yadda yadda. Am very happy with the price and looks. Got the Pearl coat, thought it was white?
