Total cost of ownership compared to competing cars is much lower. Acceleration and handling is great, so is the sports suspension.

I have owned Mercedes for the last ten years I owned a Porsche and Jaguar. This is the first BMW I am totally pleased with my 650, its the fastest car I have ever owned, and the interior is not only beautiful but very user friendly, I recommend this car to anyone that enjoys driving.

I got my 650i convertible with most options in mid-June and it was delivered flawless and has been flawless in the first 2000 miles. The iDrive is easy to use, although boot-up sometimes takes a while. A few minutes with the manuals is worth the time. The 650 is very well balanced and after break-in seems to get better mileage and has better response. I have owned more expensive cars that do not come close to this one dynamically or stylistically . It is not the fastest car, but it is fast enough for me. Lots of compliments on the design. When compared to cars costing over $20000 more the 650 comes out on top, IMO.

Well, i finally bought a used 2006 BMW 650I convertible V8 in 2020 and it is in excellent condition at 80k miles. I am a car lover and i have had about 41 cars by now, but this one is the best i have ever owned. Let's face it when it was new i could not afford it for real, the retail price in 2006 was at 85k base price and i have the window sticker that says 88k with options like sport package and winter package plus upgrade stereo system, i would imagine with sale tax at about 8% and dealer fees the car probably leaves the show room at about 95k car. In 2006 the new Corvette only costs 36k. Today 2020 the new 650i would cost 256k. Well, i thanks to all the rich buyers that bought this car new so i can buy it used today. I have this 650i for about 2 months now and i love every minutes of driving it, the driver seat is very sporty and comfy and it hugs you good, the steering wheel is nice and tight no vibrations, it has plenty of power and very responsive, takes off great and very fast, i hit my head on the head rest every time i step on the pedal, i feel like the town is in slow motion when i drive this car, everyone seems to be slow as snail, and every time i take off from a green light i always ahead of the pack and i can see all the cars in my rear view mirror. The suspension is awesome it made for curves and changing lanes, the breaks are super tight on stopping and quiet and smooth. Driving with the top down i feel like a millionaire, though i can still drive faster than most convertibles out there. I have deleted the orig mufflers and added 2 new tips and it sounds great, I feel like people either loves me or hate me when they see me in this 650i, they love me because they think i have good taste in car and they hate me is because they think how can i afford to buy this car?, i did not mean it but my 650i is the most expensive car in my company's parking lot and we have about 80 cars in the lot. Anyhow, i really enjoy driving this 650i it is ultimate driving machine for real, and i have had Benz, Audi, Porches, Lexus, Corvettes, ect...This is my 3rd BMW, my other car now is the 2012 BMW 528I AWD 4dr sedan, that's is also a very nice car. The 650i by any means not a perfect car, my car does not have bluetooth for phone music only for phone talks, the rear trunk when i hit open on the remote it unlocks and that is it, you have to then open it by hand and not open automatically, it drinks a lot of gas for it power. I have no problem with this car yet, but i will update later about a year from now to see if any issues occurred. My convert top is working just fine, but i try not to use it a lot and i try not to drive it in wet weather. The car drives quietly, tight and smooth, powerful, fast, gears shifts smooth , its very enjoy to drive, some times i come home from work and i want to drive some more to satisfy my thrill so i pass my house and keep on driving. i have the upgraded stereo system which sounds the best.

If you can afford this car and want a FAST, great handling coupe, go buy one. My old BMW doesn't even compare to this car. You won't see very many on the road and heads will turn when you drive by. I can't say enough great things about this car.
