Used 2003 Acura TL Consumer Reviews
Wow
This car has almost everything, Safety, Quality (Anti-lock brakes, "crumple" zones, Vehicle Stability Assist, Traction Control, Side Air bags etc), Price (only $32K), Performance (VTEC 260 romping, stomping horsepower 0-60 in 6.6 seconds), and just plain fun. The Navigation System is the best at "any" price.
Despite shortcomings, best value overall
Compared to other sedans in its class, the TL type-S falls slightly behind the best in performance and comfort, however the lower price, high reliability, favorable insurance crash test results and high resale were too practical to ignore. They even outweighed the numerous shortcomings, some of which are listed below.

Great Car!!
There is no doubt that the acura 3.2TL is one of the best cars out there on the road, especially for the money. You have all the amenities of a luxury car, without paying the outragous prices. I think they have really improved on the exterior looks of the car, while keeping in their tradition for making an interior very inviting and confortable. Even though i did not purchase the S-Type, the normall 3.2 has great pickup, and has a very smooth quiet ride. All around, a fantastic car.
new tls
New TL S--used to have a BMW 540. Mine gave me probs galore--snobby service people, heart -attack repair costs, angry, went for more conventional car. Amazed at value of tl s. Phenomenal power! Pretty impressive handling. Looks great. Warning!!! The seats are weird--I removed the lumbar device from mine, now it's super comfy. Every day, I feel smart owning this car, and in the stick mode, it's a rocket. It ain't a 540, but for 30k less, it comes surprisingly close. I'll review again at 15000 mi. So far, damn happy.
Best Overall Value
This car comes with everything: leather, HIDs, size airbags, 6 CD in- dash BOSE stereo...etc. The only factory installed option would be a Navigation system. Features like these would drive the cost of either the BMW or Infiniti over $35K. I paid $29K flat for the type S. Great acceleration and fun to drive. It makes you want to drive really fast. I'm very happy with the purchase. And because it's a Acura(Honda), I know that the reliability factor is high. Can the same be said about BMW or Infiniti ?
