Used 2003 Acura TL Consumer Reviews
Simply amazed!
I purchased my Acura TL-S only 2 weeks ago and I had signed the paper work even before I test drove this fantastic machine! For value, it cannot be beaten. It's a great looking vehicle with every conceivable extra you would want, from the power outlet to hook up your cell phone to the drivers auto up and down window. Power. It simply revels in it! I clocked 0-60 in about 6.3 seconds and it will pass the average car on the street with ease. The leather interior is nicely appointed as is the general instrument layout. The white facia with the black background is particularly smart. For all round value , this car is a winner.
Feel good about 03' TL
Just got a blk/blk 03'TL plain for ~$28.2k/5.99%/60Mo, after taxes 30k exactly. IT IS A GLORIFIED ACCORD but that's good! I like it. I get decent pickup. Handling is firm. 1st and 2nd in autostick is useless, so save it to change lanes. I just leave it in fullauto. Fit is tight, no excessive noise. Exterior is decent but the 16" needs an upgrade. (I think the S has 17s) Many do-dads. I bought it because I think it's reliable, a good ride, good resale, decent service, and decent looks. I somewhat regret not getting the TypeS but I still like the base TL. It's near-luxury!

The Ultimate Luxury Sport...
The '03 TL Sport has the power to manuever quickly, yet the grace to provide a smooth ride. The dealers at Acura of Orange Park, FL are true to their word on providing the 'best pricing'.
so far so good
Just leased my '03 with Nav a month ago. So far I love this car. Looked at the Lexus IS300/ES300, and the Volvo S60/s80. After looking at all the goodies that came with the TL, and compared the pricing vs. the Lexus and the Volvo, it was no contest. So far this car is awesome. The passing power is great, the interior room (i'm 6'2" 260lbs) is very good, and the bose stereo ROCKS!!!! I also am leasing a Honda Odyssey w/Nav(which the wife and I LOVE!) but the stereo in the ODY is horrible. Anyhow, great car, great ride, great value, and great sound. If choosing an entry level Lux car, this is your car.
Slightly better than Passat - great car
WE checked out the Passat GLX V6 automatic Tiptronic w/ 4 Motion and compared it to the TL (The TL-S) was not as smooth of a ride) - and both were pretty much equal. Each had it's good parts and whichever would offer the better price or looks should be the one that you should pick. The Passat actually does have MORE features if you believe that. But it came down to black on black TL and that made the difference.
