246,000 Original Miles and Stronger than ever.
Simply put, if you can find this car, or any year variation thereof, do NOT be put off by the mileage. The car is over 20 years old, so what do you expect? In all seriousness, though, this car has been a true gem of a find in my life. Transmission shifts like butter, rides better than my 2012 Hyundai Elantra, and has enough power to keep up with 2016 cars, all while getting great gas mileage. One day, I will treat her to a new paint job, but for now, she remains my diamond in the rough. A true classic made by Honda of Japan, inside and out.

My 1995 Acura Integra has 323,000 original miles
I am the original owner and I just love my Integra. It has never needed any major repairs and outside of normal maintenance has all its original parts. I now own 4 cars but I cannot seem to part with my Acura. I intend to give it to my 16 year old granddaughter when she gets her license.

Great car.
I had a 95 LS until someone totaled while it was parked. This car was reliable, fuel efficient and fun. I would recommend a 1996 or newer to avoid pre-OBDII computer problems, and slightly more power (GSR) would be nice. But overall, this car was great. It had all the amenities- power everything. Once the seats were folded down, there was a surprising amount of cargo room- enough for bicycles.
still going
I have had this car for over three years and I have driven the daylights out of it. It keeps coming back for more. With just basic maintainence and a timing belt change, it still purrs like new. Absolutely bulletproof in reliablilty! I wish my Mustangs were as hardy as this...
Great Car!
Best car I have ever owned. Never had a problem with this car, it never had to go into the shop. The car has 187,000 miles and has not had one repair or problem! If you just change the oil, brakes, timing belt and keep it tuned up the car will be fine. The car still drives like it did when it was new. This car was built in 1995 and gets almost 35 MPG. Today most cars don't even get that.
Most other cars don't even come close!
Ever since I owned this, I've had nothing but fun and no problems as in other cars. It's 13 years old and people all the time ask me about it and looks brand new. This is built solid as far as the engine goes. As long as you maintain it, change oil, timing belt and keep up on rust when it happens, they last forever it seems. I can't even look at new cars today to buy since nothing even attracts me. This thing drives like new and has pickup that is awesome. I'm not a racer by any means but this car is fast, fun and problem-free if you do work yourself and keep it maintained. For 166k on it and looking and driving like a new car, I have no need to buy anything else.
Awesome Ride
I love my GS-R. These cars are so fun to drive and reliable. You don't have to worry about anything as long as you do regular matenince. For the price you can't find anything better, with the DOHC V-tec engine it makes trips to the store exciting! I would recommend this car to anyone who has the desire to have a sports car at a reasonable price!
Integras Rule!
to anyone looking for a new car an integra is your best bet with miles to gallon and reliabity i love mine and you will too.
My review
Integra's are the tightest cars, i love driving mine and adding new accessories to it... to make it faster of course:) I think it's a great car
A Very Reliable Car!
I drove my Integra off the lot in December 1994 with 5 miles on the odometer. What sold me on the car at the time was it's excellent and nimble handling. The car now has over 260,000 miles and is still going strong!! My car has been like a old reliable friend. Honda reliablity and build quality is superb. Considering how many miles this car has seen (and not all highway miles either!), it has had very few problems. If you are looking for a reliable and fun to drive used car, I think the Integra is an excellent choice.
Perfect Car
Wow. I've always had a love for the design of the Acura Integra, and thus far it has been magnificent. Bought my '95 LS from a private seller and haven't had any problems, except for the right rear caliper wasn't releasing all the way right when i got it. Since then, it has been a great/easy car to mod. I recommend the non-VTEC (B18B) for more low end torque.
logansgsr
i just bought the vehicle and am so happy to have it.i love driving it it is so much fun. quick and has a strong engine. i know acura's are reliable from other peoples opinion. ive wanted one since i was 16 now im almost 20 and own it without payments. great car
Not reliable anymore
I bought the car with 48K miles on it, has 130k now. Acura/Honda reliability? My Integra didn't get that memo, unfortunately. Since I bought the car I have replaced the distributor, two wheel bearings, the radiator TWICE, water pump/timing belt TWICE, thermostat THREE times, the antenna, yes the antenna - TWICE, two brake jobs, along with belts/hoses/pulleys etc. It is an older car yes, but "it's a Honda", right? Shouldn't have this many problems. I can't go 2 months anymore without it breaking down. Overall I have enjoyed this car the past 9 years. But it has spoiled Honda's reliability reputation with me. If 9 out of 10 Hondas/Acuras are reliable, I got the one lemon.
95integra
bought my integra 2 years ago,and i've got to say its the best car i've ever owned. the hype about honda quality is true. wish my first car was a honda, would have saved me alot of grief that i got from other cars. replaced the timming belt and tires, and change oil. has 96k so i expect to own this car for many years.
Integra Squad
Bought this car used w 120k on it for $3000. Only had it for about 5000 miles but it feels and handles solid. The gas mileage is great, 30 every time and I drive really fast. Engine is slow but good for getting around with some mods you can make it quick. Parts are dirt cheap. Good stuff. Better than most new cars.
My Integra toy!
I bought my '95 Integra new & its been a very good choice. There is now 161,000 miles on it & I have only had regular maintenance performed. The gas mileage is over 30 miles to the gallon on the highway & what a fun car to drive! I love the service department at Weir Canyon Acura, they are the best. My next car will be an Acura also, probably the TL.
Integrity
This is a follow up to a previous review. It's been about 2 years and 21,000 miles later and so far the only problems I've had is the ac compressor went out and the engine eats oil but not too bad. All the money I put into it is voluntarily as parts are cheap and easy to come by. Good investment for a quick, reliable car that looks good (type r clone) just don't put a stupid muffler on it.
Best car in the world!
The Acura Integra was my dream car and I bought one the moment I had the chance. When I got my Integra it was already 8 years old and had 78k miles on it. I never had any issues with the car, it was only in the shop for maintenance and brake pads at approx 130k miles. Every time I drove my car I felt like I was a race car driver and I have the speeding tickets to prove it! If you're planning on buying an Integra and don't like to drive fast, please find another car. It needs to be driven fast or it won't feel loved :) My baby was just totaled a week ago and now I'm looking for another car with more room for my dogs and can't find anything with reviews as good as the Integra.
AMAZING
The Integra is truely a wonderful car. Beautiful,long-lasting, and well worth it's price.
love it
received the car after graduating from highschool and have been driving it for three years now. Have do a few modifications to the suspension and the engine which improved handeling and performance but still loved the car in its stock form.
1995 SE Acura Integra
I'm the original owner, and I love, love, love my car. I have 122,950 miles on it, and it's running as well as the first day. It's a stick shift, which I think is the best way to drive. I've always followed the maintenance requirements -and some extra maintenance considering it was stolen - twice! They wanted the leather seats and middle console. Even so, I was so happy to get it back somewhat intact. The last theft was 7 years ago (yes, I moved). I have never had any mechanical problems with this car. Well, that's not exactly true, my antenna has recently gotten stuck in the UP position. They say I need a new motor - $500! Anyway, still a happy owner...15+ years.
95 Acura Integra LS
Excellent Vehicle. Only complaint is that it is really hard to get out of the car because it is so low to the ground. I have to throw myself out of the vehicle.
1995 Integra RS 5spd
purchased used in May 2001 from a friend with 107,000km. I've driven it for 3 yrs/88,000km. I do a lot of highways and it's not best cruiser but it handles very well. The reliability has been superb. Other than wear & tear and some minor repairs, no major repairs done. The interior design is very outdated. original paint quality is only about average (rust started to build up on the rear wheel fender 3 yrs ago). some people said the fuel efficiency is good, but no. It's worse than more powerful(150hp) honda accord 4 cyl. I think it's due to the gearing (does 3,000rpm at 100km/h on 5th)
Welcome to Reliability City
This is my second Integra. I bought this one one year ago with 90K miles. Now it has 110K miles and no problems. I had the A/C recharged and that's it. If you want a car that will keep you out of the mechanic's shop, this is it. All it needs is an oil change every 3 or 4 thousand miles. If you can find one with lower mileage (ideally) that has not been modified by a youngster or whoever, don't think about it, just buy it! You will be glad you did. Keep in mind 2001 is the last year for the Integra. Suggestion; if the car has around 100K miles, make sure the timing belt has been changed or change it yourself for peace-of-mind any more years of service.
the best car out there!
this car is fun and very fast!
Sporty, Stylish, Fun, and Dependable
Great car. Have had ZERO problems out of this car at 115,000 miles. Great acceleration, hatch-back can be used to haul many large items. Car is stylish and fun. Great car for a trip to the beach or commuting to work. One of the best looking cars on the road still after 7 years!
My Teal Acura
I bought my 95 Acura Integra AT Coupe new in 1995 and really wanted a Green one, but had to settle for the Teal (Blue Green) color. This has been a fabulous car - very reliable and fun to drive. Only problems I have had with it was early in its life the antenna kept breaking but it was under warranty and the dealer fixed it twice. The last fix worked because I haven't had any more trouble with it. I got 75K miles on the original Michelins and had to change out the radiator around 100K, but nothing else serious. It does go through brakes around every 15K to 20K. Its never left me stranded and has never broke down on me.
No pain if maintained
I have owned this car for 6 years, and have put on 31k miles. It is now at 116k miles. Only this year did I start having to replace certain engine components, including a center pipe, muffler, tail pipe, timing belt, water pump, starter, front axles, and the other belts. I was extremely lucky because the timing belt snapped on me while I was in idle/neutral at a light. Luckily, there was no valve damage. The car is ultra reliable, always starting on the very first key turn whether in Wisconsin blizzard or Tennessee heat wave.
nice car, i love hondas
Givin' this car is a Civic underneath and the suspension creeks when I get in and out of the car, it is fun to drive. I put Pirelli's on it and the handling improved immensely. Who cannot love a 8000+ redline. I also have a2002 Gti VW, and while the VW is quicker off the line, but the GSR will crush it in top speed. AS far as style, I don't especially like the rear of the car, but I like the side view and think the front is styled after the NSX. How good is that. I reccommend this car especially to someone who wants a five speed and loves to shift. You need to work the gearbox.
awsome car
This car is the most funnest car to drive. It has great speed and performance. The design is wonderfull. this car is really the best sports car in the market. It has great pick up say ure racing someone on the highway and u drop it down a gear you are gone u can tell that sucker bye bye. again this car is the best.
This car is awesome!
I got my 1995 Integra GS-R used with 106K on it, I have now put over 11K miles on it and have not had a single problem. It's fast, handles like a go cart, and never breaks down. Gotta love the gas milage too!!! -Andrew
My Acura
I bought my 1995 integra LS 5 months ago. I love it. So far I've added a Ractive cold air intake, 9mm ignition wires and a Perdetor 3001 alarm system. In the near future headers, exaust, under pullys, msd ignition, NOS, tires and rims.(I'm looking for a used set of rims 17x7, email me if anyone is selling!) The only problem I've had is the power anntenna broke twice (Design flaw) when the radio is on and the hatchback is open it gets stuck and breaks when you close it. I've replaced it with a 14'' rubberized anntena. Its fun to drive, and handles as good as any car on the road.
eric's opinion
i have had my car for only about a month and i already love it. it is my favorite vehicle i have owned. it gets good gas milage and it is very reliable.
Integra GS-R
This is the best car I've ever owned. It's 1.8L DOHC V-Tec engine is a powerhouse in a small package. When you punch the gas this little car gets up and goes!!! It's sound when you hit 4600rmp (v-tec) is just a teaser for things to come. You hit 6000rpm and it's absolute furry under the hood! It's shifting response is unbeatable. 80mph, dump it in 3rd gear and mash the gas. You will be hooked! Oh yeah, the gas mileage is awesome. It's a beautiful car with great lines and sporty style. I can't wait until I can afford the RSX type S. This car turned me into an Acura fan overnight. I was a VW man for 12 years!!!
GSR
i have had a lot of fun with this car and it is a blast to drive. i would suggest this car to everyone
Farewell to the best car I'll ever own
I felt obligated to write a review after selling my 95 Integra. I really hope this review will help others who are considering buying a used Integra. I bought her back in 2003 with 115k (paid about $5k and hoped for the best). Most Ford/GMC fans thought this was high due to the year and mileage, but I owned a 91 Civic, so I was pretty comfortable wth my decision. I've only had to do normal service to this car over the past 4.5 yrs. The Integra will be remembered as one of the greatest cars ever built, period! I come from experience with other cars: I own a 90 Mustang GT and entire family drives US cars.
Super Great Integra
Even with the stock 140hp engine, this car is loads and loads of fun to drive, a few aftermarket installs can get you the amount of power or more than the vtec motor. This is my second car, my first was a maxima, and this is easily my favorite, it handles nimbly, accelerates pretty decently, has a timeless design and even the redline on the stock motor is higher than ones found in other cars in this segment at 6900rpm. Great, great car!
awsome
this is the best car in the world
simply amazing
I bought my integra gsr on my 18th birthday. Ever since I bought my car, I have never regretted it. The engine on this car delivers plenty of power and the handling for the price is unbeatable. As for reliability, I have only had minor wear and tear issues such as a squeaky clutch and a blown out speaker. It has not given me any mechanical trouble at all. I plan to drive this car until I can't drive it anymore.
Still Going Strong
As the original owner, I just love my Integra. I have had multiple offers from young people I do not know approaching me about selling the car. It has over 280,000 original miles and has never had anything but maintenance work done on it. I just learned that the transmission is starting to go, so an investment of $2K will be well worth it to replace the trans. My 7 year old grandson calls it "Grandma's Hotrod". He loves cars and I told him it is his when he is 16 if he continues to do well in school. This car is staying in the family for sure.
smooth
I love my integra. It's very fun to drive. In fact, I must admit that since buying it used two years ago, I've developed a lead food. Even at high speeds, the ride and handling are smooth. My integra has just over 126,000 miles, but is still running great. I hope to get another 100,000 out of it.
More praise for an old dog
I had to write a review after seeing all the great notes on this vehicle. It's true, this car is easily the most reliable car ever. I am hard on cars, forgetting oil changes, etc. but I'm at 200k miles and i don't think this car will ever stop running! Great reliability, but I must complain that the INTERIOR is very uncomfy. Small seats, the back is a scrunch, and if you are tall, forget about it! These cars don't get great A/C, and on long drives you'll get great gas, but you'll be suffering in the summertime, and it always a stiff ride as the suspension in sporty; this ride is definitely not Cadillac smooth. Paint also fades, but performance never has!
Superb car
I've owned this terrific little machine going on 9 years. It is a perfect combination of sports and practicality and has been a joy to own. Other than routine maintenance it hasn't been in the shop for anything. All in all the best car I've ever owned and I'm going to keep it for quite a while yet.
A solid car
I've owned my '95 Integra for nearly 7 years now. I've had problems with rattles in the dash and sunroof areas, a minor rust-colored stain on the carpet (when the car was brand new!) and the steering wheel airbag cover finish was peeling off when it was a few months old. Other than that, the car has been very reliable and is fairly fun to drive. It can be noisy in the cabin at higher speeds, though. There's also a typical Japanese soft steering (over- boosted power) on this "sports car".
this car rocks
its like vahwwaaah VahwwAAAAAH with a cold air intake and gets 30 miles per gallon. its almost ten years old and far from dying. one of the best cars to buy used.
Fun car to drive
This is a fun car to drive. great quality and reliability from Acura. I have the car for seven years now and do not have any big problem with it. The only thing broke down was the retracable antenna. I enjoy driving the car, specially it could easily take on any cars in its class.
Integra Non-Vtec
This has been an extremely reliable car. My car has 129,000 miles. I have had only to replace the radiator and the A/C evaporator. All other repairs or replacement parts have been required due to the heavy use I have given this car (clutch, tires, brake pads, timing belt). This car has traveled between Philadelphia and Miami 5 times with no problems. On weekdays I drive this car an average of 50 miles per day in a combination of city and highway driving and the car still gives a fuel economy of about 27-29 miles per gallon.
Car Stolen and Stripped
I'm the original owner and the car was wonderful with only 96k miles. It was stolen and stripped a couple of weeks ago. We are so bummed; the car was worth so much more to us than insurance will ever pay. I was hoping to get 280,000 miles like the other poster. BEWARE that these cars are easy to steal. I was told this a million times after it was stolen; never heard about it before. What a shame. Loved the car-it was a blast to drive.
1995 ACURA INTEGRA SPECIAL EDITION
THIS IS AN AWESOME VEHICLE! SPORTY COMFORTABLE AND POWERFUL. PAINT SHINES LIKE IT WAS JUST OUT OF THE SHOP. RUNS GREAT WITH OVER 130,000 MILES. LOOKS AND PERFORMS GREAT.
So far, so good
I sold my SUV and bought this car knowing the price of fuel will keep going up, glad I made that decision. Found this car with only 55K miles! So far it has been reliable. Gas mileage is great, I'm getting 25 miles per gallon, 30/31 or so on the freeway. I go about 225-275 miles per tank. Handles great, still looks stylish, can fit a lot of stuff when backseats are down. Overall I'm happy with this car.
