2007 GTI vs Audi A3

  • Re: The difference is in the details and quality [qbrozen]

I'm curious where that 163 lbs comes from. I agree with you that lighter is better, especially for handling in this car, I have the 2006 A3, 2.0T, so I agree, lighter up front, more balanced, better choice than 3.2 engine. However, you can just "chip" the 2.0T and your instantly faster than the 3.2 even in a straight line, which by the way, the V6 isn't even sold anymore. The ... Read More

Having owned a 2 dr GTI from 2006 to 2009, I decided to look at some other options for my next lease and very happy I did. Whilst my GTI handled well with good pick up, I had no end of annoying electrical & trim faults + at least 3-4 recalls. I affectionately referred to it as my VW P.O.S. Wishing to remain in the same price range, I opted for ... Read More

have a friend looking VERY SERIOUSLY to purchase a 2010 VW GTI. They found NoHaggles.com through their State Farm agent. The sales representative was quoting them prices on a 2009 GTI, not a 2010 GTI. I know a bit about cars, and called up to question the rep why the prices for the options matched the 2009 options, and not the 2010 options. He got very defensive when I suggested that ... VW Credit's October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 GTI 4 door with 15,000 miles per year are .00062 and 44%, respectively. The numbers for ... Its buy rate lease money factor for this car is now .00113 (versus .00105 last month). The increase won't make much of a difference in the payment.
