First new truck after driving only cars for 30 years. Truck sold itself after renting one from Hertz on a 1 week trip. Personally, I think its the best looking truck in the market. Rugged yet classy. Not in your face like Dodge. Not bland like GM. Not Japanese looking like Nissan or Toyota. After 30 years of cars, I was pleasantly surprised by ride quality, interior design, sound isolation. Great highway cruiser. 4x4 lets me go in deep snow even with regular tires.
Ride, lack of noise, quiet and smooth on highway, exterior and interior design, acceptable handling and steering, large box, high sided box keeps contents in, best frame and structure in class, car reviewers complain of high weight-it has the best frame and structure, that's why
Badly needs a 6 speed auto - get with the program Ford - a 4 speed is obsolete. 4.6 V8 does not have enough power yet mileage is not terrific - will get a 5.4 next time. Even better, Ford be the class leader again by being first with a diesel option for light pickups - a turbo diesel v6.
