Chrysler is down to a minivan-only lineup, and the 2025 Pacifica is the most affordable version to choose from. The Pacifica was introduced in 2017, and based on statements from company executives, we expect the minivan to receive significant updates for the 2025 model year. Signature features such as the Stow ‘N Go rear seats should remain, but with more modern safety equipment and technology to go with it.
Edmunds spotlight: Changes we expect for 2025
Even though its getting up there in age, the current Pacifica is competitive in all the areas that matter most. That said, a more modern interior with the latest Stellantis technology would do it a lot of good. A refresh could bring the dual-screen setup found in the upcoming Dodge Charger, along with more sophisticated driver assistance systems.
Competitors to consider
The Chrysler Pacifica does have some fresher competitors to consider. The Toyota Sienna was recently redesigned and is now hybrid-only and the Kia Carnival is also available. Rounding out the segment is the Honda Odyssey, though it also should be due for a refresh soon. If you’re interested in something even more fuel-efficient, Chrysler also makes offers the Pacifica with a plug-in hybrid powertrain that allows for about 32 miles of electric-only driving.
