I agree with you that there should be a performance CTS between the CTS DI and the CTS-V. Even if the V6 could be bumped up to 350HP, that would be enough for those who want a little more than standard, but don't want the cost, MPG insurance, etc issues of the V. Seeing no dealers stocking the FE3 option, there must not be much of a demand for more performance ... Read More
Hi Craig. GMAC's base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 Cadillac CTS-V with 12,000 miles per year are 3.95% and 56%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 48 month lease are 3.95% and 48%. As you can see, GMAC publishes lease rates instead of money factors for the vehicles that it leases. You can convert these lease rates into approximate money factor equivalents ... Read More

thanks rockylee; smart advice. High residual of '08 trades off with current '07 lease incentives. while awaiting for the '08 3.6L, the '07 incentives are attractive. No problem.... I would classify myself as being one of the most knowledgable posters on this site when it comes to GM stuff. I learn a lot from others and try to pass on my knowledge to others. Most of my family including Dad, both ... Read More
markcincinnati, I honestly enjoyed reading your posts but like plekto said the content of it isn't true. You slip in some smiles about how nice the CTS, is but at the same time you are reaching around with a knife stabbing it in the back. The fact remains the Bimmer's, Audi's, Mercedes, you love and adore so much don't come close in reliability, warranty, cost of repairs. Gosh damn, the free ... Read More

ONE car went from FWD to RWD- the STS. The CTS was not around before Sigma. You prove that you have no technical knowledge whatsoever. In fact, I don't think you even understand anything about the dynamics of a vehicle. Your only source of knowledge are the driving impressions of journalists turned auto experts. Chavis I was speaking about the STS, couldn't you follow that? No techinical knowledge, coming from the ... Read More
Based on the CTS order guide I would say that there will be no new CTS for 2007, rather another upgrade of the 2003 car. I hope there will be the following new features when Cadillac finally upgrades the car: tire monitor as standard, available rear backup alarm, or camera for navigation equipped cars, tilt and telescope wheel or adjustable foot pedals.
We've got the upcoming Cadillac CTS as a 2007 model year vehicle, so I'm changing the discussion title. Thanks for bringing this redesign to my attention!
