For pure value, we like the Pro trim. It comes with all the base model's convenience and driver assistance features, but it adds the higher-capacity battery, a larger 12.9-inch touchscreen and ventilated front seats. You can also get it with dual electric motors that provide more power and all-wheel drive.
2025 ID.4 trim level differences
The 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 is available in five trim levels: Limited, Pro, S Limited, Pro S and Pro S Plus. Limited and S Limited trims come with a 62-kWh battery and a single motor (282 horsepower) powering the rear wheels. Pro trims upgrade to an 82-kWh battery that provides more range. The Pro trims come with a single motor or an additional front-mounted motor that gives the ID.4 all-wheel drive and 330 hp. The Pro S Plus comes standard with the dual-electric motor setup.
