I miss my Corrado
I just had to let go of my Corrado G60 (supercharger, not V6) after twelve years for me (two prior) and almost 200,000 miles. I haven't been able to find a comparable car. My only complaints are I sometimes lost things under the seat and middle consol area, it's hard to get your hand under there and find things you drop, and there was nowhere to put your right arm. Otherwise, a great fun car, great on gas if you didn't gun it all the time. Reliable and unique.
fun to drive
100% fun to drive. Options that are way ahead of its time. body lines that look like a 2000 vehicle. to anyone looking to buy one. GO FOR IT!!
Nick's Review
Only had it for two months, runs great but the fuel economy is terrible. Interior design seems cheap for a sports car. Good seats, but the dash and controls aren't too spiffy.
Don Corrado
This Corrado is the 6th VW I have owned (3rd with a VR6) and I dreamed about owning an SLC VR6 since I was a little girl. I finally got my hands on this black on velour 1992, and it has been great. This car is so solidly built that it doesn't even rattle when I drive it 100 mph! The VR6 pulls strong and you're reading the mileage right: 263k! I love the sport seats (heated too), and it's fun to show people the speed-sensitive spoiler (still works!). It's also great to own such a rare VW that has a lot of cachet and nostalgic value. Most people don't even know what a Corrado is or think it's a Scirocco, but those who know the Corrado know greatness! I can't wait for more good times with him.
great car
Its a very fun car and great on fuel economy. i love the design and it very compact. It can easily be accessorised and custumized.
