2023 Kia Niro
Moved up to this Kia Niro Touring model from a 2013 Soul. It's like going from a covered wagon to a space ship. Amazing amount of features. All the safety driving tech like lane monitoring, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, etc. I was on a busy Interstate highway today. Set the speed for 70 mph. Set the safe distance for the car in front for 10 car lengths. The car, by … itseft, maintained the lane through curves and slowed or sped up based on what the car in front was doing. While I was touching the steering wheel, the car did all the work. Also, the engine turns off and on depending on the load. The only was to know is looking at the tach. If it's at 0.0, the gas engine is off. You don't feel or hear anything while the engine does it's thing.
The car is much more roomy than on would expect. I'm 6"2' and I don't have the the electric seat all the way back. The huge dash entertainment page and is completely easy to see in the bright Florida sunshine.
I was originally looking at the Sportage but this car completely fit the bill for me. The car, based on the model, comes completely equipped with no options to speak of.
