Escape Hybrid verses RAV4 Hybrid

2020 Ford Escape
After spending three weeks driving and testing RAV4, we ending up in two days buying a Escape hybrid Titanium. The cost was 8000 dollars cheaper for the same package on a RAV4 with all rebates. On the first test drive of the Escape my wife fell in love with the car, the comfort, the style, the looks, we both agreed it looked just like a Porsche. The closest car to it on the RAV4 side was … the XSE which was 7000 more And the limited 9000 more. We honestly were not looking for this car and quite frankly didn’t even know it existed, we just drove by a ford dealership and seen it and thought wow that is really a good looking car.
Then we drove it and again wow! This drives really good, so we did a little shopping and bought a white one and couldn’t be happier. We picked up a extra 60,000 mile warranty at our credit unit for 1500 and we now have a bumper to bumper 100,000 mile warranty. Now it remains to be seen long term if this car will hold up against the RAV4 , that verdict is still out there. The RAV4 for me came in 2nd. And if the price would have been the same I might have still went with the RAV4, but my wife is all the way in on the escape Titanium.
First trip of 100 miles in Economy mode I got 45 mpg so we were extremely pleased with that. Bottom line you cannot go wrong with either one you just get so much more for your money with the escape.
