Good Performance truck
I didn't think anything would take the place of my Acura Rsx in the fun factor but, this truck is a really nice truck, very good looks. Has all that I need to haul dirtbikes. Not only does it look like a good truck, but it handles very good. 0.9 in the skidpad, now that is impressive. Plus Toyota's reliability and resale value are top notch.
Nice performance and room
I had to replace my Audi with a truck for work purposes. I was expecting to be disappointed but this truck has exceeded my expectations. It has decent horsepower and torque. Handles well in snow (with four sand bags and studs), stereo sounds good, Sport package has nice options. Not the most comfortable ride but the truck can carry a decent load.

Great truck
A great buy! I have owned many trucks and this is by far the best. It has plenty of power and it is comfortable ride. I really don't know what else to say. If you are looking for a great mid-size truck, this is the one. It has everything you ask for.
Get the v6
Great truck in every aspect except I purchased the 4 cyl. It is my only regret. It took some getting used to, since I traded in a loaded 4x4 tahoe for this truck, but now I like it a lot. I highly recommend this vehicle. Make sure you get the v6 if you tow anything.
Avoid Toyota!!
Shifting shudder and large clunk when stopping and starting "just part of the design" per Toyota. See http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/tacoma/66233-toyota-addresses-tacoma-transmission/ for other reports. Toyota quality and customer service terrible! Also, according to Toyota, it is acceptable for their dealers to put used tires on a new truck when the dealer is unable to fix another customer's tire balance problem. Whatever you do, don't make the mistake of buying a Toyota!! You will not get what you pay for -- you'll only hear that your problems are "design features".
