i think this compact suv is one of the best you will ever find we have one and have had problems out of it since we got it it gets very good gas milage about 25 city and 30 highway.
From CRV to RAV4 and no regrets
I traded my 2003 CRV to a 2004 RAV4 for the simple reason that the RAV4 handles a tenfold better than the CRV. I found my CRV to be "trucky", FAR too big for a "compact SUV" and had terrible road noise. I would have ranked CRV's seating comfort a 2 for me...the worthless armrests dug into my sides; the legroom in the front was shy of sufficient for me (at 6'1). RAV4 changed ALL of that...I'm glad I got one!!

New RAV4 AWD
My Wife just bought the Rav 4 a few days ago..Not even 200 miles on the odometer yet. It rides great and handles well. It has every bit as much power as my 03 VUE with a V6.I was impressed with the standard feautures that other car dealerships nickel / dime you to death on. The steering wheel mounted audio controls is a very nice tough indeed. Finally Toyota has gotten the oil filter placement right..no more busted knuckles trying to change the oil or so it seems. If it gets the mileage that it's rated for it will be a very impressive little suv.
Fun to Drive
I was told by several friends who own a Rav4 that it is a fun car to drive. Little did I know that what they said was only half the truth. Not only is it fun to drive, it is easy to park, it handles the road effortlessly and it's a Toyota. Need I say more?
Simply RAVASHN
I love this vehicle. I looked for 3 years and was told there is no such thing as a "perfect" vehicle for you. I was just about to settle when I saw the re-designed Rav4. I love this vehcle (oh, I said that already). Anyway, it is Blue Specra, Roof-rack, sports-scoop, and sunroof. It is a joy to drive and to own.
We'll see
Had a '96 Grand Cherokee but got sick of all the problems. I wanted to get a new car with: price tag at or below $20K, 4WD, extremely reliable, able to fit large cargo when needed, mostly a commuter car for work....only found 2 that met criteria...RAV4 & CRV. Didn't test drive CRV because to me it just looks tin-canny, and the wheels look too small to be stable. Advice to you would be to drive both and see. If you're looking for a family car, check out the Highlander ($5K more than RAV4). I bought a RAV4 and now have 1000 miles on it.
My rav 4
Fun to drive, good looking.built solid and gets good gas mileage.Great traction in bad weather.
LOVE THIS BABY!
I just bought this car this weekend and so far I truly love it! It rides like a dream and perfect to use for work and pleasure. Toyotas are one of the best cars you can buy. The price was right too!!
04 RAV4 L Best Choice
I wasn't sure when I bought my 2004 RAV4L if is it was the truck for me, but now I'm convinced! My RAV has a nimble feel, excellent braking and handling, unexpected fuel economy at 30mpg and is fun to drive. With a 5- speed, 4WD & traction control it handles fantastic during the NJ winters. It's has a smooth ride, but also a slight SUV/truck feel, which is why I bought it. (I owned a 1993 Toyota P/U 4x4 and loved it!)It took 8 weeks (the sunroof was put in at port in the U.S,) to get after I placed my order, but well worth the wait !
