Best in class
The higher displacement 2.4L (vs 2.0L) engine makes a huge difference in performance. For around $25K you get a great many amenities, AWD, all the safety features, and impressive performance, without sacrificing affordability - I'm averaging 27 mpg. I love the 8 spkr sound system, heated leather seats (will come in handy in the winter)...the refreshed looks are lovely, as are the new alloys. Thank you Toyota for the 4 wheel discs this year. This car has it all, without straining your wallet. And it's so damn reliable. Good job Toyota!
Happy RAV4 Owner After Doing My Homework
After countless weeks poring over the many conflicting reviews at the Consumer Reports, Power, Autobytel, cars.com, Edmunds, et. al. sites, I finally settled on the RAV. There was no consensus on the quality of any car I looked at--from Acura TSX/TL to Honda Accord to Lexus IS to Infiniti G35 to Nissan Murano. I obviously explored a number of possibilites but found in the end that I didn't want to spend too much money on a car, since I couldn't find one that was head and shoulders above the rest. In all of the consumer forums, car owners aired their problems with their vehicles--even the hallowed Honda Accord. Reasons I settled on the RAV4 are listed below.

RAV 4 RULES
It is a lot of fun to drive and has tons of extras. Great power and great steering.
Great value, super car for commuting!
EXCELLENT CAR!! This is the BEST by far I have ever owned. I drive 110 miles RT every day to my job, and I wanted something that was comfortable, good on gas and reliable. The Toyota RAV4 has proved to be all of this and more....it was very reasonably priced. The RAV4 drives like a 6 cylinder, is comfortable and roomy and has a great stereo/CD/tape deck. Excellent handling in the winter weather and rain. I would recommend this car to anyone, but especially to those who commute any distance. I get the room and comfort of an SUV with the gas mileage of a much smaller car.
2004 Rav 4
I just bought the 2004 Rav4. The exterior has been updated and it is much sharper looking than the previous models. The interior is also great! Although it is a small SUV, it feels like you are driving a full-size SUV. It has great pickup and drives very smooth!
Wonderful!!!
It is the best car that you could ever ask for!!! It's just so great. Everything you could want in a car is in a Rav4!!!
Love my Toyota
Great compact SUV - Handles great in snow.
A pretty good vehicle
A little noisey on the Interstate
