Used 2017 Toyota Prius Prime Hatchback Consumer Reviews
Best value for money
Combine the resale value with the tax rebate and the combination is unbeatable. Bought at end of 2017 in case they change the tax laws. My second Prius. Look at it like a Tesla 3 that is reliable and won't break. I still trust Toyota more than Tesla. Reliability convinced me in the end.

Better than ever - unbelievable MPG
Bought this car a month ago. Did a lot of research before buying and decided to get the Advanced due to all the safety features. HUD is excellent, active safety is excellent. My mileage is unbelievable . Still on the first tank of gas from the dealer 1150 miles on 3/4 tank - less than 8 gallons. Better than I could have hoped for. The car rides nice, easy to get in and out, cargo room a little smaller than I would like but working out ok. The rear seats are spacious, plenty of leg room and comfortable. Fun car to drive. I am getting about 28 miles on a charge in the winter in NY so I expect it will be even better in the warmer months. Charge every day, 5 hours to full charge. Excellent price after rebates and tax credits. Def made the right choice

I love my Prius Prime
I know I probably jumped in a little early but I couldn't resist this new technology! I like knowing I'm doing my small part to help the environment but as a huge bonus my car is fun, quiet, clean and I'm driving virtually for free! *Update: I've had my car in the Kansas City area for 6 months now. Since arriving, I've put over 6K on it and am averaging 154 mpg. If I weren't dating someone that lives well outside of my EV range, I'd be getting closer to 200 mpg! The price paid for car does not include the federal tax credit of $4500 making this a really sweet deal!

Regret
I have a little over 12,000 miles now on my 2017 Prime. I purchased it so that I would perhaps reduce my carbon footprint and also save money by not having to buy so much gas. About 2 months ago I had to have the lock mechanism replaced on the passenger side rear door because it became impossible to open. Then while driving through a parking lot I ran over a dip in the pavement that resulted in damage to the lower front panel which cost $700 to repair. I again sustained damage to the lower panel from scraping on one of those concrete parking barriers. I would assert that the car is too low slung(design flaw). So with those two repairs this vehicle is costing me much more than it is saving. Then two days ago I went to fill the gas tank since it was down to about a 1/4 tank. As I initiated the gas flow it immediately gushed back out and on to the ground, and my foot. After some investigation online I find that the problem has been described before, apparently has to do with the bladder. lastly this car has developed an annoying rattle somewhere in the dashboard. I regret buying this car and would never purchase another one.
